Don't be such a dueshbag next time, and watch your languange you little prick, so this stuff doesn't happen again. And don't respond to that, just take it to heart.
No need for that, Andy. I think the both of you should refrain from posting about the Hamm issue again.

If T-Mac or Kobe would be playing for USA then USA would be unbeatable.
Don't think Kobe would have helped that much, he just seems like the guy who often can't be arsed. I think my new hero (FORZA ROCKETS!) T-Mac or Garnett would have helped out a lot, Shaq would also haven removed some of the dependancy on Duncan.

With shaq in the team they would have won every single game. With Jason Kidd they would have been superior.

Tomorrow my best friend's brother is going to be in the mountainbike competition. Hold your thumbs for him. :)

Maybe, but fact is that Europeans play better than Americans.

The US have the best players, but the rest of the world plays better.

NBA is built on more individual performances than the european leagues but as Kidd and Zhaq are so damn great they wouldn't need any play from the teammates (more or less).

I'm not into basketball much, but it was funny to hear, that those big stars from NBA lost to Puero Rico :howler:

Everyone used to say about Becks and hype and it fits to them as well imo.

I dont know. Sure, Shaq is a bigger presence and force under the basket, but Duncan has more game. He's one of the NBA's best centres and yet he couldnt average over 15 points. Iverson is a 3 time NBA scoring leader, Marbury averages 20+, as do rookies of the year Melo and LeBron... this was a good USA team, not the dream team, but they probably had more individual quality than anyone else. But they dont know how to play like a team, the isolation plays they do in the NBA just dont work here. You cant play 2 on 2 while the other guys chat over ath the bench as they do in the nba.

Yeah well I'm kind of shocked that we didn't get more from Iverson. But I've never really been a big fan of his but judging from his performances in NBA the puerto rican match would be like stealing candy from a kid.
Apart from Iverson they lack all the big names. This is something like Americas B-team. None the less did they (as you said) have the best team on paper. They have not been able to make any really good results but the worst part is that they have not been entertaining.

Cause few of their entertaining ballers came. Odom and Boozer aren't crowd pleasers, to put it that way.

Iverson was often so alone, most of this time on the court was more or less spent as a single guard.

He is pretty selfish in Philadelphia too though. But can't you expect more help from the players they have in this after all rather fantastic squad.

Yeah, a lot of the stars didn't show up to pull their weight. Marbury was crap in two of the three games I've seen so far, LeBron hardly played, alot of the bigger guys out there looked too similar out there to me. Don't really remember who the Sixers have except Iverson, so he probably has to do most of the work there.

The NBA is full of the most egotistical jerks in the world of sports.

I loathe this game!(tm)

And I loathe their players even more... :yuck:

Sorry Torks. I just abhor how people make conclusions about things they haven't even seen. Not to mention the fact that the guy only seems to be able to use harsh words in arguments, rather than talking sense into the subject. So I gave him a taste of his own medicine. :) Sorry though.

The other fact is that some of the european rules are different than american rules. and USA team found it a little bit hard to fit to these rules.

Yeah, because FIBA refs actually obey the rules to the letter, the NBA refs let the players get away with travveling and what not in the NBA, and also allow much more physical play. I guess the US couldnt get used to playing basketball where it's not all about strenght, but about passing, good D and a deadly outside shot.

Zlatan, I really do not like basketball, so I have to ask: FIBA rules prohibit travelling?:D No wonder USA lost. In the NBA, I have seen guys get away with with taking six steps on a dunk! Fvk the NBA.
