Tsitsipas 1st round exit.

His grand slam results in the last 12 months:

French Open: QF
Wimbledon: R2
US Open: R1
Australian Open: R1

I think he's lost a lot of drive seeing himself get overtaken by guys like Alcaraz and Sinner whilst missing his opportunity against Novak in the final of AO 2023.

It was classic Novak. He executed the same playbook. Appear to be hampered by injury, call a medical time out, drop a set and give your opponent something to lose, and then return to crush the opponent.

Alcaraz has never beaten Novak on the hardcourt surface.

I can't see Alex De Minaur's potato forehand troubling Sinner. Alex just doesn't have the tools to beat him.

Sinner should be very concerned that Novak feels he has a point to prove against the Australian media.

As expected, it was a no-contest last night.

Sinner is now:
- 10-0 against De Minaur
- Has won 23 of 24 sets played against de Minaur.
- Hasn’t lost any of the last 20 sets he’s faced against de Minaur

Brutal beatdown in the biggest match of De Minaur's career. The match will be uploaded to the BDSM section of Pornhub soon.

It must be tough to accept for Alex. He just doesn't have tools/weapons to be a top 4 player. He’s only 25, but Sinner is 23 and Carlos Alcaraz 21.

Semi finals:
(1) J.Sinner vs (21) B.Shelton
(2) A.Zverev vs (7) N.Djokovic

Injury beats Djokovic.:boh:

Now I kinda hope Zverev beat Sinner in the final. H2H record Zverev's having an edge but Sinner is both mentally and technically the better one.

Sinner is untouchable on hard courts right now. Good old fashioned ass whooping - he didn't face a single break point.

A brilliant Alcaraz on a slower court (RG & Wimbledon) is the only one that can trouble him.
