ah jeeks you know what i grew up in awe of stephen hendry, he was always so in control of the agme i dont think we will see any player dominate the sportas much as he (and before him steve davis) did. pity he is a bit dull but he is a jambo and in my book that can only be a good thing

its a game where you get electrodes attached to your nads. they then plug you into the FBT and the first man to raise half mast gets his reproductive organs fried and sent home in a doggy bag, you need nerves of steel to play, unless you are pado and you just prey that there are no long strappy shoes in the pics

Don't you think that O'Sullivan is the better Hendry? He has the talent and control but the entertainment and thrill.

Snooker is THE game.
o'sullivan is a snooker genius, he sees things that no-one else does and is naturally talented, however he has personality flaws that have inhibited his career or i honestly feel that we would be talking about the greatest ever to play the game. hendry on the other hand was the essence of a man who has perfected his art through sheer hard work and a bit of bravery(during the game) for me hendry was the best, though if o'sullivan had not had the destructive mentality he would have been no1

It is not a destructive mentality, he just lacks the patience. Well, he lacks it a lot :p

I'm getting well into this at the minute. Booked this week off work so I can watch it all day :D

Ebdon is murdering Sean Murphy at the minute. Though I'd had him down as favourite I didn't think a 6-0 scoreline would be in the pipeline. Williams vs the rocket is gonna be a cracker, though I'd probably give Williams the edge as he's more consistent with the safety shots in particular.

Biggest shock of the day for me is Marco Fu coming from 0-2 to lead Ken Doherty (in my books the favourite) 5-3 after the first session. That one resumes in about an hour, so should make for some good telly tonight. Sod the champions league, this is much better.

well murphy's getting mauled 7-1 by ebdon, so it doesn't look good for his chances of progresion.

Latest in the Marco Fu match is that Ken has brought it back from 6-3 to 6-6, which is good as I bet £30 on him being the champ at odds of 14-1 pre tournament. Don't want him going out yet, I stand to make a killing! :D

Well we have our first player in the semi final. Graeme Dott just beat Neil Robertson 13-12, that was a very exciting and entertaining match.
