No offense man but i gotta reply to this

The US gets involved even when no one has asked them to. The US think that they are the divine owners of the earth and have the right to do whatever they want with another country. Take a look at Iraq, has it improved ever since the US decided to stick their noses somewhere it doesn't belong? The answer is a complete NO.

For anyone preparing the answer "Why are you condemning the US citizens? It's not us, it's the gov't who's doing this...", my answer would be a simple: Not all Arabs are terrorists, Not all Muslims are Terrorists, Not all Arabs are Muslim(Although i'm a Muslim)

On the last page, you asked Rab if he had read your post, after he had ignored it just to stay on-topic. Then there you went, and asked him if he had read it. Then you had an excuse to continue messing up this thread. If YOU stop quoting people's off-topic comments, then we could stay on-topic. After all, it all started with Rebel and you derailing this thread.

If I was a mod, instead of closing a thread where most people are on-topic, I would have sent you on a long vacation.
Nice way to give advices to mods, Tahir...

Go back to your first post of this thread and see that you have praised the foreign policy of USA when you mentioned Taliban. It's not as if we commented on nothing in this thread...

If you wanted to praise Burger and Rock n Roll, you could say it without saying any word about the foreign policy of USA...And you wouldn't see any post from me in such thread...

Go back to try earning American respect after you annoyed them with that cricket thread...

Huh? Did you read my first post? Here it is again:

Taliban - Despite my views on the American foreign policy, and their intentions on invading Afghanistan, and the pre-9/11 involvement (during the Soviet invasion), I think that the riddance of the Taliban and the liberation of the Afghani people was much due.

Don't put words in my mouth.

You just have to realize that you can't cry 24/7 about how everyone is the big bad wolf. You ain't no saint. I've been in this country for ca 8 years, and on this forums since 2004, when have I ever not stood for what I believed in? That's right, never. Don't think you got me figured out.

It's actually quite sad that we're having this 'argument' because I've sided you so many times on so many occasions. But there's a time and place for everything, and this place is/was not a place for you to start criticizing Americans. If you keep doing it, its like beating a dead horse.

Actually, Tahir, is more than spot on, on the Taliban thing. Anyway, this thread is about appreciation, since he's been like 8years in States (thats a long good period) I believe he has the right to give his opinion on whether putting Taliban down is an appreciation thing or not....I believe he stated his point from an appreciation side more than political side.

    Anyway:)

There it is. Ze Tahir has lived in USA for 8 years and has formed some opinions based on his actual experiences. ReBel has never been to USA, never met an American, but has formed all of his opinions based on the big bad wolf stories of Al Jazeera and his beloved Taliban.

I respect people who believe in a cause, but not people who are blind fanatics, so full of hate they can't piss straight.

What ridiculous suggestions. You can only form opinions on the US if you have been there now? I have met enough americans through university, tourists as well as interacting on forums to be able to form my own opinion of them. What is more these are the 'intellectual' population, the 2% one holding passports (travelling the world etc.) which is quite frightening. If we were to consider middle america as well...

But in essence rebel is right. Don't go around talking about appreciating US foreign policy and then ask people not to comment on it. From my experience americans have no clue why people resent them. They have no knowldege of history (generally) so following some of your logic why should they comment on anything let alone be allowed to invade countries.
