Bones is the best 205er ever.
Maybe but if Randy Couture was in his prime he would find a way to beat him.

---------- Post Merged at 03:21 ----------

He was number one contender, he hasn't lost, so it would seem that he would go to the top. Plus he's probably one of the few guys strong enough to keep Jones on his feet.
Just finished watching Judgment Night a film nearly 20 years old starring Emilio Estevez and one i hadn't seen in years, such a coinsidence that i see his face 2mins later on this forum :D

Ok for the 23834989th time Jones is not the best LHW ever. Definitely one of the best and potentially the greatest ever, not yet though.

Actually opinion on MMA fighters is very "fresh memory" oriented. I mean how many of you guys and the MMA fans around the world thought Machida was the best ever and will never lose the belt when Joe Rogan announced welcome to the machida era when he knocked out rashad? Next man he fights he gets owned two straight fights, get knocked the fucked out in the second one. Then gets beat by Rampage of all people. The first fight Jones is gonna lose the holes in his game will be exposed and all the fans will be talking about how there are these big flaws in his game and that he will never be a all time great if he does not fixt it. Mark this page, save this post, this will happen soon.

I remember chuck tearing down the LHW division and the people watching it live declared him the greatest ever, same with Cain after he demolished brock. It took most of you guys to watch Cain destroy brock to realise that he actually cannot fight and is scared of getting hit. Declared the most dangerous man on the planet after he beat Carwin i was laughing my ass off. Frankie edgar would have beaten brock had he got the chance.

Anyways i would go on and on about how in history a lot of guys were declared the "greatest ever" because at that time they would be unstopable and we would watch in appreciation.

Time for boner-sinva fight :D Aaron, Ac you guys watching this with me live? :D Gonna Ve an entertaining fight and we see boner get knocked out for the first time in his career unless Silva has one of his fights like he had against Mia.

Excited to see Fitch back in action and what he changed after changing camps.

I just want to mention that my opinion about Jones is not biased thought i hate that tvvtmouth and i wish him a broken bone and a loss in every one of his matches. And on the risk of sounding like cronios time will prove me right and imma see you guys jump on jones after he get his ass handed to him, its gonna happen the next time he fights either of machida or Shogun, which ever he fights earlier.

Comming to UFC 153 Preview, i actually think this card is fantastic! Frist good card in a while.

There are a couple of exciting fighters fighting on the undercard as well! there are actually 6 fights i am eagerly waiting to watch.

In preliminary bouts,

Diego Brandao (19-8) takes on Joey Gambino (9-1) in a featherweight bout. : I know nothing about the Joey guy but i know Diego and he is a fiesty little fucker. Exciting to watch and this fight aint going past the first round.
Luiz Cane (12-4, 1 NC) meets Chris Camozzi (17-5) in a middleweight bout : So ive liked Luiz every since i saw his fight against Sokoudjou. Very talented and very similar to brandon vera in case of not fulfilling that talent. Last time i saw Camozzi was at Welterweight and everything i know about this kid is from the one fight he had in the auditions of TUF. Should be interesting but i think Luiz wins this one of he is fucked.

Main PPV card.

My man from the old days, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira comes back against Herman. I'd like to see big nog win this in the first round without taking any heavy damage and retire. Since his pupil and adopted brother and my man Cigano is holding the belt i dont see Nog willing to fight him if he gets the chance. So just retire legend.

Glover Teixeira (18-2) squares off against Fabio Maldonado (18-5) : Ok i know nothing about these. All i know is Teixeira is the luckiest and the unluckiest fighter in recent times. As a nobody he got paired up to fight two heavy names, first the legend Shogun and then former champ Rashad. Lucky for him Shogun refused to fight a nobody and unlucky for him rashad wasnt interested. So a nobody is fighting a nobody but im interested to see what the hype is all about.

Jon Fitch faces Erick Silva : Donno who Erick Silva is dont care. Im jsut excited to see what changes Fitch has introduced since undergoing the change of training camps and i think the last time he fought was around WWII. So i hope he is out aggressive and gets back into the mix wiith a good win.

Silva-Bonnar

:weee: One fucked up fight this is.

WTF!? Doc stops the fight, bullshit! Maldonado was taking huge huge shots i agree and i felt bad for him but he rocked glover with that left hook and always looked like landing one again! Man maldonado almost finished that fight dammit! Lol that was fun if maldonado had 20 seconds left in round one glover was DONE!

You guys overrated the horse pig and dog shite outta this guy...jeez he got no fucking chin. Rashad has a better chin than this guy lol. Put him in with shogun and he's getting knocked out, put him with machida he's getting knocked out...hell put him with any of the top 6 HW and he's getting knocked out.

right decision, Rua-lover :D, this fight was getting dangerous for Maldonado

he got cocky there and let his guard down but that ain't gonna save Rua's ass one bit if they fight :)

Tell you what, your overrated junk aint even getting high enough to challenge top 5 HW let along Rua.

Never seen MMA before, but I happend to stumble on the Silva fight, since I had to get up early today for work.

Silva seems to have an unnatural strength to the amount of muscle mass?

Lol no its not that, you should see his fight with Griffin. Its actually his angles and timing of his crisp striking. If they hit you you get hurt. He broke Griffin's jaw with the first punch he threw and now finished bonnar with one knee, thing is both those guys are known to take inhumane punishment and still stand, well forest not so much right now.

Anderson silva is the greatest fighter ever, period.

Bonnar never had a chance, but props to him for stepping up. Now we have an issue. Will Dana White force the Jones-Silva fight to happen like fans want or will he go the GSP-Silva route?

Man that Glover man is a beast. Maldonado too!

Very happy to see Jon Fitch back to his best.

And Anderson Silva... well, man the fuck up and face a contender for a change. Now, Silva should only fight Weidman for MDW championship, Jones for LHW championship or GSP in a 178 catchweight superfight.

I dont really know what's up in the MW division. Is Anderson refusing to fight weidman and is weidman even a no 1 contender?

Youre right though, i think anderson is towards the end of his career and i dont want him to end up like fedor. He should just take 4 more fights. Destroy whoever they put him up against for the MW title (bisping?) and then Weidman, beat Jones for the LHW title and fight GSP where ever that happens.

I'd say Weidman vs. Bisping for the No. 1 contender ASAP. I see Weidman winning that to set up a great MDW championship fight.

Bisping's style of fighting will surely fail against Silva. Weidman, however, is an improved Sonnen version with much more power and submission skills.

Anderson says he wants 5 more fights but he wants to pick and choose his opponents. But doesn't want to fight Jones or Wideman.

I think if Wideman wins his next fight, the likely match up is against Bisbing for the title shot. I hate to say it, but Bisbing has earned it. Though his skill set leads to an early knock out.

I think we will see Anderson against GSP or Jones next. Probably GSP, since Anderson doesn't want to fight Jones (even though that is what everyone wants). Then we'll see him go back to 185, defend his title and then alternate the remaining fights between 185 and 205.

Strange, I can understand him not wanting to fight Jones but why not Wideman? I think its because the only Top 5/10 guy Weidman has beaten is Munoz and Mia no? I dont think that earns him a title shot though. MW division is shit anyways and has always been. Like KO said set up bisping and Wiedman and if he get past the count then i dont think anderson has any excuse to refuse the fight.

The good thing is at least Anderson is now talking about fight GSP :weee: I dont see how that fight will go.
