If guus has a chance :)howler:) it will be by a decision, that too if shogun runs outta gas again and just survives. No one's knocked out Shogun and sometimes i hate it coz it works against him rather than for him. I mean i have never seen anyone take that sorta damage and still stand up, did you see what hendo did to him in the first 3 rounds? That fucking right hand over and over again, a couple of those were enough to knock out fedor! One was enough for the fake Count.

Nah Aaron, no way its a KO loss of Shogun.

There is possibility. It's why Anderson is holding out until 2013. He wants either a fight against GSP or against Jones (if they both win), if not he'll end up against Wideman or Bisbing.

GSP vs. Silva is more possible than Jones vs. Silva.

Jones and Silva are buddies, after Silva vs. Sonnen II, Silva was asked if he's going to accept a fight against Jones and he replied: "NO". Of course it's not entirely his decision, but even Dana White hinted that if GSP defeats Condit, he'll probably get to fight Silva next.

Ok, but if there is anyone who can beat Silva its probably Jones? He's so big and strong, maybe a bit too much for him. Jones is such a monster and is as old as me, so scary.

Jones is the best MMA fighter at the moment, no doubt. The size difference alone between him and Silva is huge. Jones, naturally, is a heavyweight and will fight in the heavyweight division once he break the record of most title defenses at Light heavyweight division.

As for Silva, I think he's reaching the twilight of his career. I believe that in the middleweight division, Weidman is more than capable of defeating him, actually finishing him! A highly decorated wrestler just like Sonnen, but with magnificent striking, submission, endurance and a very solid chin. Weidman is the next big thing in MMA, someone called him "the Jon Jones of middleweights".

Thank you, will definitely check him out.

Do you have any other great fighters and fights I should go back and watch? Some potential future stars? Some spectacular fighters? Give me some of your knowledge :D When you're newbie like myself you tend to get stuck to the biggest names because your knowledge is so limited.

Check the "fight of the year" in the past 5-6 years, definitely worth watching. Last one was the Shogun vs. Henderson in 2011, a lot of fans (including myself) regard it as the best fight of all time. You also have to watch the Silva vs. Sonnen I, Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard II and III. Try to download some UFC unleashed episodes, they always show some great fights.

I personally enjoy the middle weightclasses more. From Light heavyweight down to Lightweight. Not really a fan of featherweight, Bantamweight and the new awful, awful flyweight.

Great fighters include BJ Penn (a bit old and past it right now but still active, one of the most entertaining fighters), George St. Pierre (current UFC Walterweight champion, regarded as the No.2 pound for pound after Anderson Silva, a complete fighter has no weaknesses), Junior Dos Santos (Current UFC heavyweight champion, regarded as best boxer in MMA), his nemesis Cain Velasquez and of course Shogun Rua (because Woody :D) and Dan Henderson.

As for past fighters, Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture and Matt Hughes were great fighters. Outside the cage, though, the most entertaining fighter of all time is Chael Sonnen :D

Yeah, remember most people scored that fight a draw.

first 3 rounds for Hendo all (10-9)
last 2 rounds for Shogun 10-9 and 10-8.

But you could argue that the referee should've stopped it in round 3 giving a TKO win for Hendo.

Dan Henderson injured, UFC 151 cancelled!

Chael Sonnen stepped up to fight Jones in 8 days notice (not fully ready) Jones refused (even though he had a full training camp)! Dana White is pissed off.

It's just that Jon Jones believes it would be a victory for Chael Sonnen getting an easy title shot, after all that trash talk in the media. But he (Jones) ruined an entire UFC card and other fighters will not get paid!

Now, it's Jones vs. Machida UFC 152 in Toronto (now titled UFC 151). Good luck to Lyoto.

Apparently Machida is on vacation in some remote area of Brazil and doesn't know about the fight yet.

On another note, Jones said last week that he didn't want to fight Lyoto. Boohoo.
