Rd two and herman goes straight for the clinch! Maybe trying to get Jake tired since this is his first fight in the UFC at 185 pounds, backfires and jakes takes him down, side control. Still 3 minutes to work!

Main event will be good.
Yea it should be no doubt! That's the only fight that is selling this PPV.

:lol2: This is bullshit!

Probably the easiest fight of Jake's career. Spends the entire round smothering Herman. Why the fuck would you clinch with the best grappler in the world? This is too stupid to be real. Herman deserves to lose and is 2-0 down. Last round and herman needs to finish Jake. Not gonna happen.

Round three and both are gassed like they just spent 5 rounds of pure war :sergio: lazy punches that are more likely to knock themselves out and herman with the takedown! Jake wastes no time in getting back up before herman could folllow him down. Jake get up and takes herman down. Boring minute of scramble.

Full mount, 90 seconds to go.

I can hear the crowd booing more than i can hear goldberg and rogan for the ENTIRE PPV :lol2:

Fight over, Jake prolly will get a decision.

How's the reunion going A? I bet it is more interesting than this.

Ok, so the cowboy looks straight at the young assasin who looks concerned at donald's confidence. Intense stare from Cerrone and he looks like he is ready to KO Melvin. Remember melvin missed weight and was comming in at 187.

Fight starts with Cerrone chasin melvin and BOOM a left hook from melvin catches Cerrone and drops him flat! gets up wobbly and eats a flurry of punches and knees! Melvin backs out and looks relaxed and Cerrone now has a look of OH SHIT in his eyes! They come close and Cerrone throws a left head kick and grazes melvin's head. Does not look like it connected good but as Cerrone moves away melvin's legs shake underneath him and Cerrone comes running and lands a straight right and drops melvin like a sack of potatoes! KO and that's all she wrote.

Awesome fight!

Time for the main event!

Rd 1

Ben lands 4-5 hard low kicks on the lead leg of Edgar, that's the only notable stuff.

30 seconds to go and edgar gets a takedown straight into a gultne choke but holds on to the bell... donno who gets the round. Edgar never in trouble while in the choke.

Rd 2

Big big round for Frankie! Drops Ben with a right and tries to sink in the choke and ben spends most of the round avoiding being kneed in the face and the choke.

Strange round 3. Donno who gets it. No take downs no powershots. Very few shots traded.

I think Ben will get this round since he's the champ. Edgar should wrestle and take him down.

It's official. Sonnen is now a light heavyweight problem.

First fight against Forrest on Dec 29th. I don't think he'll do much in this division, where everyone is a wrestler.

---------- Post added 16.08.2012 at 14:22 ----------

Also, Nate Diaz is next to fight Benson Henderson.

Gustafsson on Rua: “I'll Knock Him Out in the Second Round!”

Ok so i liked Gustafsson a bit in his past couple of fights and i thought his future in the division looked great but the little prick will die now. He forgot he is nothing but a small puppy and now dana just threw him in to a small pond with a great white shark named shogun will have to eat him. I can't wait for this fight. Yeah yeah gustasomebody'sson is a great striker and it will be a competitive fight and shogun needs to show up and yada yada blah blah and what not but i can't wait. I am not at all worried about this fight, shogun will win, show that gingerson who is boss and get that title shot since this fight is a title eliminator.

I don't like Gustafsson. Hope Shogun teaches him a lesson.

Shogun is truly one of the greatest talents in MMA history. The problem with him is that he's not a hard worker, when he starts a training camp, he doesn't push it all the way.

I think its got to do with his new training camp. When i was watching him come out for this fight against Vera i noticed Ninja was not up his ass rubbing him all over like usual, talking in his ear and all. Later i read him saying that he did not approve of the new coach shogun had, that he was not pushing shogun/training him hard enough. Too bad Chute Box fell apart, it would have been awesome to have shogun go back.

Btw Shogun is the best ever, up there with Bas and Ken.

But i think Shogun knows this is his last real run at the title and will definitely show up. Gutasomething sun is going down.

Goos only has a shot of the early knock out. I expect Shogun to take it to the ground and tire the Swede out before winning by KO/TKO in the second.
