@Shyne, have you watched Mavuba sufficiently so that you can give a fair opinion about him?

If so, would you tell me more about him please; his preferred position (more attacking or defending midfielder) and his playing style as well?

I have only seen him play a handful of times. Group stages of the CL vs Liverpool was the last game I watched him. From what I saw, he seems to cover alot of ground, rather than parking himself in 1 spot ie: Emerson. He is small and fast, and even for his size, isn't afraid to tackle. He is a DM, but from what I saw at least, that doesn't stop of him from making numerous runs upfield, kind of like Zanetti on Juve.

DD and Platini rate him highly, and from the little ive seen, he does look like a very good prospect. For 10 million euros, which is the last I read, he seems very good business. Partner him with a good distributor of the ball in Almiron or Lucho, and I think our mid is set.

guys maybe am dreaming but i feel am talking something logical ...look to this :

also it's almost sure that Trez will leave ....we may sell him for 15 m at least or to have Sissoko ( coz Liverpool have 4 class DMF, logical to have one out) plus 5 m at least .....(Hint: Rafael benitez , want ot have Trez and may Camo too)

also Camo is almost sure to leave ....and may we have 10 m at least ...

we have also ( Secco & Blanc said that) to sort out many co ownerships players and also the management looking for selling players too like Kovac, Zalayeta, Marchionni, Giannichedda and Legrottaglie and sort out some loan players ..so we can end up with 10m extra ....(at least)...

moreover, sure we will have additional cash from a sponsor and at least 10m we can have...

so totally : 70m + 5m ( Case if Trez leave to Liver) + 10m + 10m + 10m ...

i think we have ...105m euros agian ......

You have returning players in the starting 11. I don't think that will fly. I like the Barzagli and Ribery picks though.

I think that this gives us a lot of options with formations and philosophy. Nedved could easily shift over to CM, Ribery to LM and Sali in a RM for one example. That only costs us one sub. I think we need to focus on getting players that will work with the ones we have. Toni would be the only player to adequately replace Trezeguet IMO. Huntelaar could be vicious off the bench and in Cup play. Bojinov and Palladino are young and versitile and could play in 4 positions (CF, SS, RM, LM). I think this is a very good squad for next year.

If I could change anything I would sell Boumsong for some extra cash. With Criscito he is useless. However, we may sell Kovac and therefore serve the same purpose, although I would much rather like to see Kovac in the squad than Boumsong. Also, if Zebina decides to leave than I would not loan out Nocerino in order to leave Sali flexible to play RB when needed.

surely we wont buy 2 forwards,I prefer Huntelaar
