Deschamps assures Boumsong of Juventus future
tribalfooball.com - January 31, 2007

Juventus coach Didier Deschamps has moved to assure defender Jean Alain Boumsong he's part of his plans for next season.

The France international has been linked with a move away from Turin in the summer, along with teammate Jonathan Zebina, in the press in the last week.

But Deschamps spoke with Boumsong yesterday to make it clear he was a major part of his hopes for next season's return to Serie A.

Of all Tribal rumours, I hope this one's rubbish :disagree:

I don't mind keeping him around...but only as 4th choice CB. I doubt he would complain too much and I doubt his wages are that high. At least he's not injured 11 months a year like legro and Tudor

The first page and the last page of this thread is like, pardon the pun, black and white. I am not sure if this is a fan thread or a roasting. It must be something if an international player can apparently suck in serieB

he sucked at Newcastle as well....

why DD suggested we sign this guy is beyond me, maybe its a French-brotherhood thing, I dont know

what I do know is if DD really promised BUMsong a spot on this team next season, IF we get back into A, then I suggest we get rid of both of them !!:agree:

I think the promise of a 1st team place if more less to not unsettle Boumsong. The guy is already a crapppy defender + we don't need him to play any crappier so he must be assured of a team place...atleast until the end of the season then we wil see.

I have to ask Juva a favour. Please, do sell Zebina at the nearest chance. He is the worst defender in the team. Ironically, he thinks that he wouldn't have played in Serie B.

Quoted in agreement. We could keep him as a 4th choice or maybe a 5th one. We are getting Metzelder and Barzagli, we already own the full ownership of Criscito and Kovac isn't that bad. :smoke:
