English media: "So how would you feel if you had to play against an Italian manager in the Premiership?"

Arsene Wenger: "I wouldn't, because we like to attack in England."
Did Wenger suffer a major head trauma in the past couple of years? I mean, it wasn't that long ago that Ranieri was coaching Chelsea. :confused2

Or he must have been giving major head...

Thanks to England's failure to qualify I met Joe Cole on Thursday night.
Word. Burke and I met Joe Cole along with the whole Chelsea team, minus Damian Duff. The night before, Burke left Joey a threatening voicemail on his hotel phone. Yes... they patched us through several times to several different players, AND Mourinho. I called that cat myself.

^Not puking, but definitely in a bar :D He seemed to be in good shape too. I wouldn't be surprised if he prefers vacationing in Barbados to training for the Euros.

He was really cool though. To me he comes across as a bit of a dick on TV but he wasn't like that at all. Hopefully some of his skill rubs off on me.

Joe Cole was alright. Even though Burke's death threats towards him were probably not taken seriously because of the "you can't fuck Glen Johnson in the ass in this country," it still was a death threat. Joe was still cool and talked to us though, knowing it was Burke who sent it.

Man, it was fucking great. We hate Chelsea quite a lot, but I don't mind Joe Cole or Franky. They were nice guys. And I had to love Joe's "was that you, mate?" :lol2:

    You're on facebook, right son?

So... the first thing on Sky Sports here at 8am in the morning in England is reporters asking the Portuguese how great Ronaldo happens to be. "Ronaldo is obviously the best in the world," "no question he is the best after tonight," ETC.

Why doesn't Sky as the supporters about the WHOLE fucking team? Oh that's right, marketing.

And little girls such as Blandest tell me that the English are not biased whatsoever about their football or football leagues. For Christ sake, you can see it every single day on Sky Sports News.

Fuck Ronaldo. He wasn't even that great last night.

My face is sorta like a book, but it's difficult to read.

well maybe we could liven up the thread by posting some interesting pictures about England and especially that great game at Wembley :D vlatko you can take it from here
I just noticed your avatar, I remember that moment like yesterday!

Andy Moller steps up, shoots, scores, and stands with pride amidst the shattered hearts at old Wembley. That arrogant pose was class.

One of the most classic moments in football.

As American owners take over the EPL, I think they should rename it the "MFL" to create more brand association and confusion with the "NFL". And of course, the "MFL" would stand for "Mercenary Football League".

Anybody with some sense could see the bias.
