It's just to keep Jack Warner happy. The whole Trinidad-England match is about politics so England can host the 2018 World Cup. :inter:
You're right, and if FIFA changes their rulings around just to give England the World Cup, I will bomb FIFA Headquarters and the FA in England.

Those cocksuckers do not deserve to host the Cup because it's North America's turn in 2018, which is what FIFA themselves ruled on several times in the past. They better not change that ruling now.

I don't particularly like the way the rotation works, but it would be unfair to change the rule until it has gone through at least one full rotation.

Oh, and the English commentators trying to suggest T & T are a serious team is hilarious.

Blatter does that, and I screw his wife and wipe my dick on his curtains.
... and then screw Blatter and wipe your dick with his tongue.

Exactly. You can't just change a policy like that without it running it's full course. It's unfair to the nations that get screwed over.

Who does FIFA think they are, the Bush administration?

Here's an interesting bit of major British media for you.

In this week's The Economist, a statement about Hillary Clinton's lack of grace and pathological denial of her loss in the election primaries:
The primaries - Over at last (http://www.economist.com/world/na/displaystory.cfm?story_id=11502141&CFID=8487984&CFTOKEN=71702503)
The narrowness of the margin has made it hard for the Clinton camp to accept defeat. On the night Mr Obama declared victory, Mrs Clinton refused to concede: indeed, in a speech that missed a fine opportunity to be statesmanlike, she sounded defiant to the point of delusion... “In Defeat, Clinton Graciously Pretends to Win,” mocked a headline in the Washington Post.
And from the BBC News Web site today:
    Euro 2008 prepares for kick-off(http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/euro_2008/7439547.stm)
For fans of the Premier League there there will be plenty of familiar faces on show.

Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to cap an outstanding season by leading Portugal to victory, having been beaten by Greece in the 2004 final.

He is one of 43 players who earn their living in English football - with four further from the Scottish Premier League. Britain's contribution is only bettered by Germany's total of 56.

Chelsea and Arsenal will both have seven representatives at Euro 2008.
Oh, the the ironic parallels are hilarious...

In Defeat, England Graciously Pretends to Have Qualified.

Let me first say that I do not in any way support England and that I have a profound dislike for the English fans I know in Belgium. They are generally rude and loud alcoholics who barely look at the game and have in recent years made lots of downright racist statements towards the Italians and French.

But even though I was laughing back when Croatia eliminated Becks and the rest, I think their presence will be missed. I like epic clashes between big teams. I prefer England-Germany over Germany-Sweden, just because of the bigger history behind the game.
Apart from that I also like BBC's coverage of the English squad. It is quite objective, but filled with enthousiasm at the same time. So I think we'll miss England, even if I would never want them to come anywhere close to winning it.

    Agreed.

It's a lot of fun to have England around, but only when they're being humiliated :)

    No way.

The may not be particularly pro-England, but they are incredibly xenophobic.

English media: "So how would you feel if you had to play against an Italian manager in the Premiership?"

Arsene Wenger: "I wouldn't, because we like to attack in England."

    English media: " :rofl2: Bahaahahahahahaha :rofl2: "

Gotta have a good laugh over something this summer, don't you ENGLAND?!
