This is getting rather ludacris now...
There are people here giving titles like 'true juventino', selecting who's done what for the club... chill out !!!
First of all DD is a great value to the club as a player, but he played elsewhere and he coached elsewhere and his life doesn't end up with Juventus nor does it started with... Second the guy came to JUVENTUS (I didn't forget my caps lock on!), not Juventus went to the guy... We are not Olympic Lyon, nor Monaco or some other mediocre club... we ARE JUVENTUS. And DD can expect to be judged by his own results - and man do we had bad times these year. Yeah, we qualified for Seria A (cheers) but WE LACK:
GAME STRATEGY
PLAYERS CONFIDENCE
RESULTS
NEXT SEASON PLAN
So how is that DD the best manager for the club?
If WE ALLOW HIM TO DO WHAT YOUR CRACKED UP HEADS CONSIDER THE BEST TO DO (full Market POWER), HE WILL INVEST AROUND 70 MLN. AND THAT WILL BE ALL FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS!
Lippi has the image we need so we can sign really good players. We can get better sponsor deals, we can gain confidence... didn't you know that? Is it not what we need?
And secco doesn't need to prove himself to anyone here - he has proven to the right people and is positioned to the described place. HE is SUPERVISING the coach - which means he is not an amateur in the players market. And WE are just amateurs at a supporters' forum...you can do the math.
Hate him as much as you like, call dead peoples' names, stop supporting the club if you will - but that is the that - this is the management and they will change the coach as they see fit.
You just have to learn to get over it (much as DD had to).
No offence.
I really needed to read something like this, man. Cheers :pint:
Let's see. If we get:

- Lippi: Iaquinta? Cannavaro? Buffon STAYS, Big names will join Juve...

- Capello: DP GONE, Buffon GONE, Emerson IN?...4-4-2...

- Novellino: battle for UEFA spot
Word. Let's hope for the best...

Remember when we got Capello from Roma?

yesterday, out of nowhere, the same guy that gave that scoop to j1897 showed up after months of not posting.

the other 007 a couple of months ago said that we could have a strange return this summer. We all thought about players.

what if we're getting back Fabio Hat?

Man you get yourself way too serious. I don't know how do I look like secco, but then again you might be DD...
Please do youself a favour and write @ dd.com or sth like that, as much as I see this is Juventuz.com and if there is a criticism it must be a creative one... not just crying for sth you know nothing of!

I hate to say this... as much as I think bringing on Lippi is a complete setup for a let down next season, he's the best legitimate option we have going right now.

Lippi is also legible for for the "strange return" title, Lippi never said he wont join Juve, but he dismissed other deals without any hesitation,
he said Juve has a coach and as long as they do have a coach he doesnt wants any talks about that, because he respects DD and doesnt want to get in his way,
no the road is clean.
Right after Mundial Lippi had a lot of offer but he said he wanted a break,
the reasons where personal (his son was questioned) and maybe even more,
he was waiting for the right chance, if he was certain about his return he could sign a pre-contract, my guess, he was waiting for Juve call and this is about the right time to make that call, we need him now more than ever for many reasons...
