I really feel shitty for Didier Deschamps, because he has fought this whole season for promotion and this is his reward...
Although on the other hand... IS THE GODFATHER COMMING BACK?
Maybe Lippi will bring back Moggi&co back...
Oh my God, only the feeling of Lippi coaching us next year, really turns me on (joke)

Going public is a no-no. You don't go public about stuff that's supposed to be going on behind the scenes. And as coach, you especially don't go public about transfers. Any idiot knows that could easily split the lockeroom. I've been just fine with DD since he took over. I hold him in high regard because he came to Juve in a time of need. But in no way is he the victim in this situation. The minute he started going public, that IMO, meant he wanted things his way or he was gone. Now he's gone.

It's like having a disagreement with your boss & telling the whole company & it's clients you don't like what your boss is doing. Guess what? You've created problems.

DD should move on, because his stay has created a huge distraction for the team. I mean we just won the Serie B championship. This isn't something we should be talking about right now. Secco might not be a saint... but he's not paid to be one.
Going public regarding problems is something all footballers do when they believe they're right. Marcelo Lippi went public before while at Inter because of their various problems, Capello has made ridiculous comments to the media several times before, and our beloved Moggi is the king at stirring up the media. Any idiot should realize that the manager should have a say in transfer dealings... if Deschamps was denied a say he has a right to be mad because it's absolutely ridiculous for Secco to not take his advice. It's Deschamps team for fucks sake.

So in actuality here, Secco is the one to blame for being inconsiderate to Deschamps. If you treat your manager like shit and not give him opportunities to weigh in with his opinions regarding the team he coaches, of course he will become upset and has a right to do so. And when you have a management not revealing the proceedings to you, along with the possibility that you're just being used for one season, that hardly instills confidence. Deschamps got tired of it and spoke out against it. Don't give me this fucking bullshit that it's all Deschamps fault when he is just DOING HIS FUCKING JOB.

And what about Buffon, huh? I didn't see you blast him and his agent when he was going public and saying he could leave this summer. The fucking guy came out every week with statements saying he could leave. Doesn't that fuck up the lockeroom as well? But oh wait, that's perfectly fine by you because he's an Italian hero.

“There are strong stories circulating that he wants to hand in his resignation. We were honestly surprised, as the last we knew in his Press conference this week he said he wanted to stay with Juventus.”

The reason for this sudden turnaround could well lie with Lyon, as Gerard Houllier stepped down on Friday and Deschamps has long been one of the favourites to take over.

maybe this is true?
maybe deschamps really wanted to work with Lyon rather then Juve?

Deschamps leaves Juventus

Juventus Football Club S.p.A. and Didier Deschamps have mutually terminated their contractual relationship that gave them both satisfaction, enthusiasm and success. The coach and the Club have recognized that the conditions necessary to continue their relationship with the same satisfaction are lacking, and therefore have decided to amicably separate.
:faq1:

well there's nothing more then wait and see who will be announced as the new coach.
I just saw on TV, they are saying that Lippi is practically a done deal

Buffon is a player.
DD is... actually was... a coach.

Big difference.

Buffon is on the field getting the job done. I'll kiss his ass a million times before I kiss some coach, who in the opinion of management, wasn't going to cut it in Serie A.

Eh, a lot of the time when a club gets rid of its manager and hasn't hired a new one, the youth team coach takes over. Chiarenza is more than adequate to manage a team of kids when the results don't matter and the players looking to break into the first team squad are trying to impress.

Au revoir, Didi, et bonne chance.

That's very true. Him being Italian justifies anything he's doing. That's the logic of some fans sadly.

Deschamps has no fucking stake in Lyon. He's never played there and came to Juventus to manage us when nobody else wanted to. Now he had the chance to manage Juventus in Serie A, the club he adores and is considered a legend at. You idiots need to give the man a little more respect.
