Cool down man....

And I am not being hypocritical. Here's why.

What the difference between Buffon & DD is that Buffon hasn't come out & said Secco isn't doing his job right. Buffon has said, and only said, that he will decide on whether he stays or not when the season is over and he goes over the clubs plans during the tranfer window. He's never come out & said I don't like the direction Secco is going in. DD has.
But there is nothing wrong with that. Just a few years ago Secco was team manager and handing slips of paper to the fourth official FFS. At least Deschamps has led us to promotion when nobody else wanted to, while we don't have a clue regarding what Secco has done for the club besides a few easy signings. I would trust somebody who is a true Juventino and led us to promotion before I trusted a new management. Forza Deschamps.

Look, my dear...

If you think I'll go to another club's forum because I'm a fan of an individual, then you really don't know me.

I cheer for this club before DD was a player.

The difference between you and me is that you're seeing his departure as a good thing because he's not Italian, while I look at the club from a universal viewpoint.

Rebel why are u taking that issue on one side. I'm not satisfied by the maangement still u never how things went. Maybe lyon convince DD to come. He has better chances there and he 'll play the CL. I'm just asking u to balance ur point of view by taking into consideration two parts
I can't, mate...I'm trying to understand the reason but I can't find any justification.

As much as I like DD, he is as much to blame for this as Secco is, if not more.

You can't go public with potential transfer plans and slam them. Even if you're right.

Second, I really think Juve Management is upset about the Coppa. That was their chance for UEFA, and they didn't even make it to Serie A teams.

Third, we don't know all that has gone on behind-the-scenes. DD may have been asking for his entire list of players (probably Anelka) and Secco had his list, and was only gonna compromise on a couple (like Mavuba)... DD didn't like some of the compromise players (especially Mesto, apparently) and raised a stink. The Juve management was probably very surprised at the behavior of a man who not long ago came hat in hand for the coaching job. Then the contract situation comes up... my bet is he wanted at least what Lyon was willing to offer him, plus... Juve, unconvinced by the team's performance under DD said no, and offered less and a shorter term to prove himself. He was insulted, and quit... eventually informing Juve management.

Plus, for all we know, DD is one of the reasons Buffon and Trezeguet want to move... they might not think he's "competitive" enough to top Serie A. Of course, they might just be disappointed at both sides.

Vialli has always failed as a manager.
I want Lippi
I agree. Vialli was all heart less brain as a player. I have hard time imaging Vialli planning his way through the years.

Lippi is a great signing, but I don't think it is guranteed as people make out. Professional level, I can't complain, but I will loose a lot of personal affection I have for the great man.

What people forget is that even Lippi has made a fair bit of his mistakes during his tenure as Juve manager. He gets a benefit of doubt because who he is, and yet people are quick to pick up every single micro-mistake DD makes. At some point, you have to give a guy a benefit of doubt, especially if that person invovles a great CV as a player and CL Final as a manager. But I think the majority of this board realise this, and I am sure most are disgusted by the club's treatment on Didi.

Buffon has repeated hundread times that the club has to buy better players, and if you don't know, that means insulting the players in the current team. Was that justified to be said publicly?
Maybe its semantics, but did Buffon say better players, or did he say "prove that the team will be competitive"?

To me, that says more than just players, it says coaching and management as well.

really? that simple? only an idiot would say something like that to him.. It is board's fault not keeping him, be it for asking the transfers he wants, or more money for next season, he deserves every penny of it. A challenge like building Juventus from the scratch is a job lots of managerrs would love to have, to write their name in the history. Not just that, Didier is a true juventino who would see it as an honor to do something like that.

Deschamps has no fucking stake in Lyon. He's never played there and came to Juventus to manage us when nobody else wanted to. Now he had the chance to manage Juventus in Serie A, the club he adores and is considered a legend at. You idiots need to give the man a little more respect.
Spot on.
