I'm gonna go to sleep now.

If I wake up and Capello is the new Juventus coach I will throw myself off a tall cliff somewhere.

Some tribal doodoo here :D

It's Deschamps or Secco at Juventus
tribalfooball.com - May 25, 2007

The future of Didier Deschamps at Juventus hinges on the director Alessio Secco.

The pair do not see eye-to-eye and Gazzetta dello Sport says Deschamps made it clear to Juve general manager Jean-Claude Blanc in a meeting on Wednesday that he was reluctant to carry on working side-by-side with the sports chief.

Blanc proposed a new contract to Deschamps during the summit - worth an extra £70,000 in salary - but the coach insisted his future at Juve didn't depend on money, but the tense environment he's working in.

The final decision on Deschamps will be left to Blanc and president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli. Should Secco be moved sideways, Juve will attempt to bring Real Madrid director Franco Baldini back to Italy to take charge of football affairs.

However, if they decide they cannot go forward with Deschamps, Sampdoria coach Walter Novellino is favourite to succeed the Frenchman for Juve's Serie A return.

----

Imo DD has proven himself to some extent by taking us back to Serie A while Secco hasn't done squat. He has failed to bring us any signings yet; all he's done is made us promises. Everyday we hear that players that he had on his "list" have joined some other team. So if you ask me, Secco should be the one to leave.
