In Scotland, you can't be gay if you like beer and football, Ahmed.

It's the law.

that sir is great sig material

I felt that saying the two are related would possibly be overstating the link between the two things.

The way I said it was intended to suggest it may have been an influence, but not a major one.
and that is how i know that you are an extremely intelligent and perceptive individual who thinks "outside" of the box

here is something to think about....

just for the sake of debate, IF Zac turns this team around, we start winning games, play better football, and make a top 3 finish, does he keep his job next season ??

Nobody knows it Vini but I wouldn't be surprised if we keep the guy.

Depends on the quality of football we produce. I'd say that it would depend on whether Benitez (or another alternative) is willing to take charge of Juventus or not as well though.

Do you mean should he get the the job or will he get the job?

Zac would have to do something truly exceptional before I would even consider giving him the job.

depends on how much progress we make towards the end of the season and how much promise we actually show.

and when i say promise i don't mean the same blind promise we had at the end of last season

Zac set to make changes
Monday 1 February, 2010
New Juventus boss Alberto Zaccheroni is planning to make several changes to his formation following the home draw against Lazio.

The Bianconeri Coach revealed that he is already working on a new strategy for the next Serie A game against Livorno.

“Against the Biancocelesti I saw an improvement but it was too early to change things,” noted Zaccheroni.

“My boys already understood what went well and what went wrong against Lazio. The Livorno game is coming soon, on the Saturday, and tomorrow I am planning to speak to my players in greater detail.

“In the last game we ended up playing too further up and rather than create openings we closed the space ourselves.

“There will be news against Livorno. I couldn't do it with Lazio because I didn't want to confuse the team.

“But regardless from the name or the number of midfielders I will field, I expect an overall better performance than the one against Lazio.”

Zaccheroni made it clear this team has everything to make it in the top four.

“Our target is entering the Champions League zone and from what I saw against Lazio proved to me that we have enough quality to do that.

“I have set no deadline though because this team needs to improve gradually. We are looking forward to the return of several injured players and that will mean a lot to us.”

i wonder what is gonna change on saturday game??

Only if our board continues to completely choke on an adequate coaching succession plan. So far, based on their track record, the chances are not bad. :shifty:

Well, Zaccheroni was talking about 4-4-2 and 4-3-1-2 during an interview so I guess we should not expect a lone striker.

Well, he does talk about 'the number of midfielders' he will field. So that could mean he adds one, either playing a 3 man defense :scared: or a single striker.

Hate having to wait nearly a week to find out now.
