We all saw that he has affected the players in a positive way. Del Piero was running, Melo performed much better than the previous games, there was a lot more fire going on on the pitch, but the thing i cant understand about tonight is why did he make only one sub?? I dont count the second.....

Who off the bench would of made a difference defensive wise? Team played alot better football under Zacc and after 48 hours he cannot work miracles. Judge next weekend.
+REP for your sensible post. I would wait for a few matches before judging his performance. His subs do seem bizarre, but what would you ask when he have only 48 hours here? He may even don't know the name of all players.

This was our bench. Who do you bring on for Melo? And no, we are not gonna play with a three man defence, because our team hasn't played that ever.

Chimenti Antonio
Caceres Martin
Legrottaglie Nicola
Zebina Jonathan
Giovinco Sebastian
Marrone Luca
Paolucci Michele

He should have taken of Grygera, pushed DC back and brought on Giovinco (is he even fit?) when we conceded.

Oh my... I'm not deluding myself, I know that all I could ask for after three days of his work was a moral boost. But this game showed us more than it was supposed to. We have another coach who doesn't have a clue how to use his substitutes, who changes system three times during a game, another who's able to fuck up everything during a half-time, another who gives playing time to useless cripples like Zdenek and Amauri, finally another who's afraid of playing Gio. Sackeroni is even more pathetic than I thought.

Why did we have to replace him with a DM? Why not Giovinco? Even friggin Paolucci or Marrone (who is a CM). Why did he take no action after we conceded? Not a bad fucking idea, is it?
Because we were not retaining posession what good would have Giovinco do? he is not a ball winner. Your a smart guy mate you should be able to see this.

We need more than one point against one of the worst teams in the league when we play at home. Not acceptable, just embarrassing and depressing.
We've been beaten by worser teams than Lazio dude. I take it as a point gained more than anything. The test comes next weekend when he has had a full week of training. Sorry for the insult earlier.

Whatever, the solitary point is a different story. That substitution and the nonuse of Giovinco at all, and the late substitution is a sad joke.

Wow, Caceres for Melo. We have ourselves a mastermind.
That wasn't a bad move actually.

Caceres played as a right back, grygera moved to the left back position with de ceglie playing as a LCM. Pretty reasonable move.

We were simply unlucky. Plus the team has a serious mentality problem, every time we score a goal we concede another goal (thank god we didn't lose the game at last minutes as always).

I don't think Zaccheroni is to blame at all for today's result. The only thing that i hoped he'd do is to replace del piero with Giovinco who could've added that spark in the attack IMO.

Exactly, and I really would've liked it if he kept encouraging the team to go forward after converting their late Christmas gift.

You know what? I don't even want to care. I'll just continue to watch Juve playing, and losing, and drawing, and if one day we become a good team again, i'll be pleasantly surprised. But now, my expectations are nil.

Don't get so attached. Be a passive viewer. A lot less dents in the wall, I find. :wallbang:
