So guys, aside from the spectacle of witnessing our beloved Juve lift the Scudetto on Sunday for the 30th time, there is the little matter of who will finish in the third spot and achieve succession to the Champions League qualifying round.

There are four teams in total competing for it, Udinese, Lazio, Inter and Napoli. Question is, who do you think will take it, and also who would you prefer to qualify? A coefficient attentive person might suggest that having an Inter or Napoli in the CL would be better for Italy given their stronger sides. However, I'm more inclined now to say to hell with them, let Udinese or Lazio qualify and if they don't progress to the group stages who gives a shit, so long as Juve are there every year from now on.

Thoughts?

    Anyone but Udinese.

They will just use the money to buy another ten youngsters who they will then sell on as soon as they can.

Napoli, Inter and Napoli would use the money to actually try to put a good team together.

You mean if Cavani was with us? ;)

    Racist!!!!!!!
Funny you should say that, seeing as our club has the highest number of bans/fines for racist incidents this season

The high(er) numbers are probably due to our proactive stance in getting rid of racist twats from the terraces, I highly doubt the other clubs in Italy put in as much effort as we do in this regard.

    Who needs what for third?
    By Football Italia staff

There are 90 minutes left of the season and four teams can still finish third and qualify for the Champions League.

Udinese are in pole position for third. They’ll achieve that target with a win or even a draw at Catania. A loss could still be enough if Napoli don’t win and Lazio-Inter ends in a draw.

Lazio, currently in fourth and two points adrift, will finish third if they beat Inter and Udinese – who have a better head-to-head record against them – lose.

Napoli, fifth with three points to make up, will celebrate if they beat Siena, Udinese lose and Lazio don’t win.

Inter, meanwhile, can only celebrate if they beat Lazio, Udinese lose and Napoli fail to win.

Udinese are in control of their own destiny as a point will be enough, while the other three need wins and a favour or two from elsewhere.
