They all attended the council meeting :agree:

I moved on, but result aside that council... was... HILARIOUS. I didn't really comment, so I'll do it and that'll be the last of me on that subject. That was the best show ever, you couldn't make that up. Hollywood movie style. At approximately midway through the meeting and onward, it got so ridiculous I nearly choked; so theatrical and stupid (they even dared to compare the buyers to firefighters). Won't go into details (I can if anyone's interested), but let's say the members of the council of Glendale got to be the most inept in North America (no joke), I'd be ashamed and not 'very happy' if I was living there.

For the sake of the city, I always preferred if they moved to Seattle 100 times better (and I still would have preferred that) even if it writes off completely the almost non-existent chances to have a team with that franchise, but no lying that municipal council and RSE deserve each other. If they go bankrupt, they would deserve it for being nuts.

If my municipal council would cut important public services for a Sport team, NO WAY I'd accept because there are other priorities. I was mad when our new arena was financed by public funds, it should have been by a private firm because money could and should have been spent in much more important things. I'm sorry for the residents, that's the sad part.

Seguin was having some serious attitude issues during playoffs. If not for that, I don't think Boston would trade him. If Jim Nill and co. can fix his weak mind, Dallas will be very happy about this deal. If not, Seguin will be a really expensive (5,5+mln) and very annoying player who will be struggling to reach his potential.

That's why I think eventually Dallas will be happy about this deal but reading about Seguin behaviour I'm also not surprised Boston decided to trade him.

Alfredsson in Wings...

Not sure how this helps us but I guess the line of Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Alfredsson can be fun. 5 years ago it would destroy the universe.
