Mike Ribeiro traded to Washington
I hate that bitch, but it's a good pickup for Washington, especially if they're losing Semin's production. Different roles, but Ribeiro will make those around him better, and provide that much needed 2nd center behind Backstrom. Will help the PP, and shootout, also.

That was mostly for Nzoric, Treq :D

ok was on the phone talking about the draft. I'M HERE!!!

Let's trade up!!!

Forsberg still available.

Not for long though.

We got 2 second round picks. Bergevin can make things happen. I think he'll go for Matteau.
Forget that. Boston is about to trade Thomas to Washington for the 10th pick.

Dammit! They reneged on the deal!

Huge pickup by Washington, more offense. TSN's 3 rated player - for whatever that's worth.

Haven't seen much at all, but everybody says he's a beast.

Wouldn't it be funny if BOs picks up M. Subban?

Yeah, not going to happen. I keep seeing everybody putting goalies into their mocks for Boston - just because Thomas is gone - but Rask and Khudobin are both young (we'll see how Khudobin develops, and if we resign him), and Boston have some good goalie prospects beyond that - including a 22 year old named Niklas Svedberg, who they signed in May out of the Swedish Elite league.

From the B's site - Look at those playoff numbers!

Svedberg, a 22-year-old goaltender from Sollentuna, Sweden, played the past two seasons with Brynas IF Gavle in the Swedish Elite League (SEL). In the 2011-12 regular season, he posted a 2.47 GAA and .912 SV% in 29 games. Svedberg also recorded a 1.70 GAA and .947 SV% with four shutouts in 13 playoff games, leading Brynas to their first SEL title since 1999.

thanks

I cant help but like PK's edge. The maturity isn't there yet, but his game has so much potential.

He and Marchy are actually buddies, so I'm sure Marchand could take Malcolm under his wing, and nurture him.

Great role model :p
