Yeah, that was a huge win for the Caps - Holtby stole it, but the Bruins can be better. Boston missed a massive opportunity tonight.

I didn't think that Backstrom would be suspended, but in the end, Caps pulled it out anway. Huge.

This is going to be a long series. The B's have played fairly well, and I feel like the top guys are on the verge of breaking through.

i think this was by far the toughest game of the series for the caps going in , not a proper center on the bench. ovie really busted his ass for the team yesterday , i really cant help but love him. i think he has the most hits in the series so far, thats pretty huge. outhitting lucic, chara and co.

whats the procedure for the next games? if it goes to 7 , is it two games in boston and the last in dc?

1-1-1 with the last game in Boston. DC is the 7 seed. Act like you know this.

Ovie actually got benched for most of the 3rd period, he had a pretty rough night - only played 15 seconds in the final 14 minutes (per ESPN - I didn't make that up). But Alex does like to hit, and Boston's happy to engage. :D

The series being tied is basically down to Holtby, and the Caps D collapsing. Boston fired over 80 pucks towards the Capitals net last night. Need to get more net front presence, and bang home some of those rebounds!

Anyway, huge win without Nicky. I expect the B's to bounce back.
