Vancouver out in round one?

I guess we found our new coach then if that happens.

I want Patrick though.

Serge Savard is helping in finding our new GM, #5 of the big three not retired yet(boom boom is). It'll happen this year me thinks.

The 3rd and 4th lines do it again! This is a little reminiscent to the start of last years playoffs, as far as scoring goes. Depth is keeping Boston alive right now... sure have seen that before.

Washington was the better team for most of the night, but the B's outhit them big time. Hits were 42-23 Boston after the second period, and I think that it definitely showed in the third. There's an extra day off between games 3 & 4 - I'm sure Washington could use it. I expect the effects of Boston's physicality will start to show a little more in the next game or two.

Great game by Backstrom tonight, very solid in his own zone (as usual), tremendous pass for Laich's goal. His vision and touch are sublime, yo!

Didn't see it at the time, but that notorious goon-thug Nicky B. got a match penalty at the end of the game, for crosschecking Peverley in the visor!

If that doesn't get overturned (it probably will), that's an automatic 1 game suspension. Could be a huge turning point!

Well, it's not like Philly isn't dirty. I'm not going to even respond. It's obviously a pro-Philly blog.

Nice to see the B's beat the Craps.

What's up with Grigorenko, he's getting owned by a couple of 16 year olds. Ok one of them is MacKinnon and the other Drouin. Both ineligible for this year's draft.
