Well that's the series. Can't see the Pens doing much in Philly if they play like they have in games 1 and 2. Terrible defensive hockey, sloppy power play possession, poor goaltending. Gotta hand it to the Flyers, they make up for their lack of talent and experience with skillful physical play, a smart system, and a lot of energy. Should be a handful for Jersey/Boston/New York. Unless of course the Pens pull of a miracle.

8 goals. :sergio:

I hope Bylsma embarrasses these fuckers.

The Flyers remind me of Juve. Pens remind me of Barca.
That's just cause you're from Philly.

The Flyers are more like Chelsea when they were harder, or Arsenal when they had Arsenal or Henry.

The Pens aren't good enough to be considered Barce and way more physical.

Juve would be the Jets.

Haha true. I meant Barca as in they have superstars that like to whine a lot :D

I agree though, 8 goals is an awful lot to give up. This might very well end up with a sweep.

You just think of Crosby, and he really doesn't whine that much. Look at last game. Philly won because of a goal that shouldn't have counted. They could have whined about it, but they didn't. So sit on that.

Yeah, we're prime for a sweep unless we drastically change things up on the defensive end and special teams.

Let's not bring up the past :D

Penguins have no one but themselves to blame though. Flyers have really dominated them this year.

I didn't say the Penguins should blame anyone. They've played like crap.

I merely used the incident from game 1 to prove your point wrong. That the Pens have a bad rap. Very similar to the rap the Flyers have as being a team of thugs.

Not at all over, my man - way too much skill in Pittsburgh to throw in the towel yet. Boston lost their first two last year to Montreal, and also went down 2-0 in Vancouver (although the Canucks were on home ice). Philly has a young team, and a headcase goalie... this series could still turn very quickly. These games have obviously been very entertaining, but talk about defensive breakdowns... :yuck: Great pace, but intensely sloppy out there... both teams have been terrible in their dzone. So many weak plays.

The Flyers remind me of Juve. Pens remind me of Barca.
Is it the inconsistent goaltender, the turnover prone porous defense, or the high octane offensive firepower that reminds you of Juve? :p

Fixed :p

Yeah...and on behalf the rest of Canada, thank you LA for beating the Canucks! :shifty:
On behalf of a lot of us in Vancouver as well! Fuck the 'Nucks, I hope LA steamrolls them! :D

Oh no, I wasn't referring to anything in particular. Just stating the obvious I guess. Can't wait for Sunday, these kind of games are classics and as Rollie said it's not 100% over yet.

I was gonna say the grinta but ok

I like it. They're also focusing more on youth!

:D

Flyers/Pens is a great series so far, it has all the makings of a classic. I'm hoping it goes seven... and Philly wins, because I'd prefer that matchup. Also, I'm a pretty big Claude Giroux fan... love his game.

3-1 Kings! C'mon LA, smoke these fools!
