I love love love Sundin, but what the hell is he doing at the Canucks game? :sergio: He barely played for them. I can understand why Leafs fans don't like him.
Sundin is a sellout. He basically lied to the Leafs fans about winning a Stanley Cup, but his move to Vancouver was really all about the money.

Personally, I never liked the guy. Leafs fans have every right to hate him.

    The Bruins will get rocked.
You say Philly is going to win everything.

Can you even name five players from the Bruins?

They did everything they could. Not enough to win but it was a nice series apart from a couple of Ference gestures and hits to the head. Can't respect that guy. I hope our guys heal well and sign younger versions of Hamrlik and Gill in the summer. Congrat Rollie.
Couple of trades/UFA's in the summer and we'll be fine.
Thanks buddy. I did come away impressed with a few of your youngsters, it'll be interesting to see how they develop.

What a phenomenal series, lads - an outstanding advert for playoff hockey.

    Classic stuff.

Boston will do extremely well to make it a seven game series against Philly, IMO.

    Flyers in six.
We'll see, brother. Most people seem to feel the way you do. I'm interested to see if we can actually put together some balanced games. As outstanding as the past series was, I really didn't feel like Boston played anywhere near their capability. Montreal obviously deserves some credit for that. But the team seemed hell bent on making things as difficult on themselves as possible. Really going to need to work on some discipline issues.

Our leading scorer and leading goal scorer gave us almost literally nothing last series, our PP gave us -1 goal... I still wonder how we made it past Montreal, all things considered. That Kaberle deal looks worse by the day... but Peverley and Kelly were excellent last series.

But you play the games for a reason, and there will be some lads on the Bruins who will be pretty anxious to atone for last years debacle. It should help that we'll have a healthy Thomas, Seidenberg (who finished the Mtl series fairly strong after a rocky start), and hopefully an improved Krejci will make it through the whole series against the Flyers this time around.

I'm expecting an intense series. Philly is obviously the favorite, but in the NHL anything can happen.

That was a terrible trade for Gomez. I screamed bloody murder on this forum when that trade was made.
There's no doubt about that. I remember that all of us were just stunned... shocked by it, really. I never thought that contract would get moved.

You guys do have some good young pieces buddy - and guys like Desharnais and Eller played better than I expected they would. It'll be interesting to see what Mtl does in the offseason. Starting with that D... the Markov question, and you definitely need to re-sign Wisniewski. That PP is pretty damn scary with those two bombing from the back end.

Where else is he going to go watch playoff hockey? Toronto? :seven:

Datsyuk is putting on a clinic once again. He's taking the puck away from Marleau, Thornton, Heatley, et cetera with ease, then turning the plays into scoring opportunities or fast breaks. All of them have fallen victim to the WHOOSH! :howler:

For real. I have a feeling a Habs fan friend of mine and I will need to hit up the Pens bar in Charles Town during this series to cheer on the destruction of the Capitals.

Marleau enters the zone with the puck and blasts it towards goal while his team is changing. The result? The puck comes back off the glass, out of the zone, and into the sticks of the Wings for a 3 on 2 counter. What an idiot.

The Sharks weren't the better team tonight. Sure, they had more shots, but they did not outplay us. We shot ourselves in the foot by taking stupid penalties, and the four minute high sticking call was of course going to kill us. I didn't see any blood on his face, but whatever.

And if that's the only intensity the Sharks can muster in game one, then they have problems. Not much pep in their step at all.

The Sharks commentators are like those from the English Premier League. They are anything but unbiased commentators. Having Versus use their coverage for the game is the worst part about the night.
