Wicked backhand by Danny Boyle. He always was good at putting the puck in the net...
Actually, I love Boyle. Canadian olympian, and a highly skilled player obviously. He's gets 3/4's of the blame on that one, I'll send the other 1/4 Nabokov's way, for being fucking asleep at the wheel. Sure you don't expect that as a goalie, but O'Reilly is still right there; at least act like you're paying attention when the puck is deep in your zone.
Can't wait for tonight's games!

Another tremendous effort by my boys; they've really come to play every night. Wideman & Ryder continue to impress (finally the intensity is there), and the patchwork D did a really nice job. If you guys haven't seen the hit by Boychuk on Ellis, look it up later on YouTube. Thunderous check - just flattened him.
Gotta love the play by the Recching Ball on the winner, and it was so nice to see Bergy finally pop one - he's been having a rough time of late. Better game by Lucic, Sobotka was awesome, and Krejci needs to pull his head out of his ass (although between Satan and Sturm - who has been terrible - he doesn't have a lot to work with).
Last but not least, what a game by Tuukka Rask. Incredible technique, reflexes and conditioning. I'm so impressed by the Rook... best trade ever.
