If you were Phily, who would you give up for Price/Halak?
It would have to be something big, like young defenseman Matt Carle or Danny Briere and a couple early draft picks. Briere takes up a lot of cap space though, but that's why they should get rid of him.

Besides, I'm not sure I'd want to see them trade price to the eastern conference, anyway.

Maybe price and a prospect to Edmonton for the #1 pick overall?

before these playoffs, the rumours around the league would lead us to believe that we could get more for Price. Now if Jaro continues to play well in the playoffs it's another story.

Quebec has run out of good young goalies so if we want to draft one late for the future then Finland is producing good ones apparently.

and f*ck Brière. Little piece of sh*t!

    Jeff Carter or nothing.

Unless they give up a package that includes Van Riemsdyk and Parent.

Other than that, no thank you.

Carter and JVR are not going anywhere, buddy. I'm sure you realize this... especially for Carey Price.

Edmonton was considering your offer, until the Bruins stepped in and offered Michael Ryder and Dennis Wideman for the #1 pick. Deals already in place, Bruins will draft #1 & #2 :juventus:

What if it was Halak instead of Price?
If it was Halak on the table, I'd be trying to pry Giroux loose...

I was going to say Claude Giroux (16 G, 31 A). He seems like a solid player if you ask me. He's willing to work hard in the corners, win the puck, and can really dish out some solid passes. Giroux is only 22 years old too, so he's got plenty of time to work out the kinks in his game. The Habs could really use a player like this kid.

The Habs defense is getting pretty old. That really needs to be addressed. Most of the crew is 35 or 36.

But yeah, they could use a guy like Giroux for sure. Doubt Philly will move him though.
