The problem we have right now is that Dallas has realized the only way to stop us somewhat is to pack players in around Turco when we have the puck, clogging up areas close to the net. Their players aren't really good but they're big, so they can just sit there in front of the net and soak up shots and pressure. We need to find a way to clear out those guys once were cycling the puck in their zone and get into better spaces for shots.

We also need to work harder and have a little more passion. Sure, the refs fucked us over last time and Bettman changed the series, but we need to forget about that and beat this team. They're really not that good and just play barbarian hockey.

If Detroit were smart they would try to raise the pace of the game so that Datsuk can get in the open on a few counters and work his magic. Make it really up and down, it would definitely mean a high scoring game but that would really favor the Red Wings.

This is the way turco needed to play for us to have a chance. In the last 2 games we've gotten great goaltending and timely goals. This is far from over, we're finally playing the way we did in the anaheim and SJ series.

That's a great analysis. But I think you might be exaggerating a little on how shitty our players are. But that's what we have to do. We have to close down the shooting lanes and keep zetterberg and datsyuk to the outside. No one in the league can go toe to toe with detriot, so we can't trade opportunities with them which is what we did in the first 3 games. You may think it's stupid, but we don't have the offensive ability detriot has. It's all about puck retrival, hard work, and cycling for us.
