I don't know Andy...they're playing Calgary, who seem to be a jack-in-the-box if you ask me. The Oilers vs. Wings series from last season really screwed up my playoff fantasy team, so don't do it again this year.

I always hate playing the Western Canadian teams as obviously our record against them in the Playoffs has not been good recently. Calgary plays a physical, hard forechecking game because that is all they can play with their lack of real talent... that is how they beat us last time and they could do it again this year. But Babcock and our boys should know we have to beat them at their own game and win physical battles. Unfortunately the player we got to help us with that task is out with a concussion... don't know why we took a risk with Bertuzzi anyway.

But with Zetterberg coming back we should be able to take them. Our young guns of Franzen, Zetterberg, and Fillipula must step it up... although the absence of Kronwall could really hinder us. Fuck.

you're a stars fan??? wow, well anyway i think turco will choke in the playoffs as he usually does

well we played pretty well last night. The 1st goal went in off sydor's skate, and the last goal hit the f.ucking glass 25 feet over the net and rebounded right in front for a tap in. I'm pretty pissed we lost that game last night. after firing 76 shots you expect to win the game. We outplayed the nucks and loungo beat us.

Yeah, that was a stupid move. Detroit's a big team so I think they should get past the Flames, but everybody knows it's not going to be a cakewalk.

I wouldn't say Calgary has any more of a talent-deficiency than New Jersey, and it's no coincidence that both teams have resorted to playing the trap yet again. Meh, dirty tactics win games though, I suppose.

anybody catch New York Rangers's Hollweg right before the game in the dressing room?

To break the tension and pump up the guys he started mimicking a drum solo and then going into an acid-rock dance. I thought he was having some post-concussion symptoms after that Chris Simon stick to the face he got last month. :p

    Almost pissed my pants. :D

This should come up on youtube any second.

The trap is garbage. It's the equivalent of playing ten men at the back in football... only the shittiest teams resort to such a tactic.

    get the broomstick out.....:agree:
Maybe, although I think that they'll get tired after the third game, do the courteous Buffalonian thing and let them take the fourth, and absolutely tear them apart in the fifth game.

Buffalo in 5, Sens in 6, Rangers in 6 and Devils in 4.

Andy, the Detroit - Calgary series is 2-2. I was hoping the Wings would sweep after winning the first two games. I told you to watch out for Calgary, as dirty as they play.

Bertuzzi's not playing too bad in his first two games though, eh? Guess I was wrong to put him down as a stupid acquisition.

Did anybody see that bullshit Calgary pulled at the end of the game today? What a bunch of classless, talentless thugs.

My Wings are gonna destroy them now after that bullshit.

Playoffs are over for the Flames now. I didn't watch the game, but considering they lost 5-1, I'm guessing the Wings will beat 'em silly come Game 6.
