I'm at a Dave matthews concert and I saw the pick pop up.on my phone. How the FUCK did he slip to 15 
and dont give me that size excuse either. This kid scored more goals by himself last year than half of the minor league teams

This guy was rated a top 5 pick by quite a few draft analysts, and almost no one had him falling outside the top 10-12. Crazy that someone who scores like this was still available at 15. I wanted us to try to trade up to get him around 10 if he was still available. Ice cold veins to wait it out and have him still be there at 15. Can't believe so many passed on him over his size. Especially with some of the small players starring in the league right now.
Of course, this being the Canadiens, he could end up being a total dud...
but I don't care, psyched on this pick and seeing him paired with a brilliant playmaker in Kotkaniemi for the foreseeable future. I don't think we've had a player finish top 10 in nhl scoring since Lafleur in 1979-80, and finally we have a couple offensive talents on this team again that have that sort of potential, especially paired together, even if it is unlikely they get there.
