Wow, Markov is still getting paid! I guess they figure the injuries are behind him, that's a lot of chedda.

Big wins a couple of nights ago for Bergy and Tuukka! Patrice is such a class act, love it that's he's getting the recognition he deserves.
anyone of note leaving or joining the Bruins?

Well, we lost Benning from the front office, and Ward off the bench. Both of those guys were key contributors (Benning made 2 nice deals for Vancouver today already) but we'll see how that really shows with the rest of the quality we have running the club right now. It's gotta hurt some, internally. I haven't actually checked who the new faces in those areas are, come to think of it.

Thorny is done, Johnson is done, Meszaros is terrible (and done). Young RFA's include Smith, Krug, Bartkowski, Florek, Caron. They have about 8M bucks to play with, I think - something like that - to sign some complement of those guys, AND Iginla. Really depends what Iggy wants, but it's going to be very difficult (impossible) to make that work. Smith, Krug, and Bart will definitely get done, although it wouldn't shock me if Bart was dealt (hope not, but I'm not sure how light the B's want to be on the back end). More likely they'll try to trade Kelly now that Soderberg is playing 3rd line centre. We'll see, Kelly's a very popular guy -- in Boston, and elsewhere. His 3M salary isn't cheap, but he's versatile and brings a lot to the table in terms of intangibles.

Gotta get Iggy back, or find another top 6 RH shot, that's the big task at hand. Well, that and this whole draft thing. Svedberg is the new backup, which is noteworthy because of how well Johnson played, and how well he was liked. Svedberg's earned it (and makes $600,000).

@Nzoric, you have a shot at Perlini or Larkin. Great prospects.

Thanks, Rollie  ... hope they are competitive again next year.

Montreal is picking what, 26th?

Hell, I can't stay up for that. I'm old
Soooo long. I watched most of last night's draft, I can't pull this back to back.

WOW! Obviously somebody isn't a huge Neal fan. Going to be interesting to see the Malkin effect on Hornqvist.
