Tim Bozon

2011-12 Stats: 71 GP, 36 G, 71 PTS

Tim is a highly skilled player. He has an ease to his skill and it is parlayed in his skating, puck handling and thought process. He has speed and quickness and he has no problems moving into the areas where he can use his skills and contribute offensively. He has very good poise with the puck and his awareness is good and he makes good plays that lead to scoring chances. He has a good shot and he's able to get to the dangerous spots and take advantage. He's learning how his skill can be of the initiating type in terms of imposing it on opponents and gaining increased chances. He plays a very controlled game in terms of not running around without purpose. He will benefit from maturity and that will help his confidence which can lead to being a very good NHL player. He has the potential to be that player because his skill is evident but he will need some time to pull everything together.

Central Scouting had him 32nd on its mid-term rankings and he finished 38th among North American skaters on the final list.

"I don't think you go wrong drafting Brady Vail," Spitfires head coach Bob Boughner said. "His skating is one of his biggest assets.

"That's the new thing, everyone plays fast and I think Brady's has a little more offence than people give him credit."

It's those qualities that Edwards feel won't keep Vail on the board long once the NHL Draft gets underway.

"He's certainly a reliable guy," Edwards said. "He's hard working, competitive and a good penalty killer.

"He's a guy that could play on your second line or maybe third line duty, but I think he has a good enough skill set that he could play a second-line role."

If Beauvillier is there at the beginning of the 5th and they take him, then I will state that this is the best Habs draft since 2007.
