"Well, for me, knowing Detroit's history they don't really pay the market value for a defenseman or any players, so I didn't think that was going to be a good fit for myself." - Canton, Michigan native James Wisniewski on why he didn't consider his hometown Red Wings as an option.

Dissapointed Kenny didn't got(or tried to go for) one of:Bieksa,Wiz or Ehrhoff.
Well, now only Kaberle and White could be worthable from who's left on the FA list.

I wish we had traded Huds and maybe brought in Gagne.

DId you see my Wisniewski article? He didn't want to join us because he thought we underpay all our players. Fuck him, hope he has fun in Columbus.

Ehrhoff was probably too expensive for us in this market.

I think Kenny still has some tricks up his sleeve. I'm sure he's still looking for a top six scoring winger. Hudler could still be traded.

Lol about the article.Fuck him if so.
We have aroung 9.5mil cap space,i'm sure if it's a good defender we can offer a 4-5 mil contract.Ehrhoff got 4mil didn't he?
    Yeah,still hopes for trading Huds.

Btw,how is the RFA market works?it also started yesterday?we can offer contracts to RFAs?
Weber is on the list, remains a dream.
    Doughty and Bogosian aldo there.
Heared Doughty asked for a 7mil per year, but maybe Bogo will be available?...

RED WINGS SIGN IAN WHITE 2 YEARS CAP HIT OF 2.875

WORD UP! That's not bad for a relatively young and solid defenseman, especially in this market. He doesn't have much playoff experience, but I remember him doing well for the Sharks this Spring. He's not bad with the puck and adds a lot of physicality to the team, which is something we have lacked. White will probably fight for a top four spot with Ericsson.

    Lidstrom - Kronwall

    Stuart - White

    Ericsson - Commodore

    Kindl - B. Smith

Doesn't look like we'll move for another defenseman considering what Holland said.

RFA basically means that the player's current club has a right to match the offer presented by another club.
