That was a fantastic game. Props to the Pens for not complaining about the Cooke suspension, but they know the deal since Crosbeeker went down.

That's what happens when two out of the six posters in this thread are in the woods for like six days.

Now that most teams have ten games left to play, it's going to be rumble time in the league... and in this thread.

Although, it's a bit boring since I'm the only person here who supports a Western Conference team.

Roenick says Lemieux should put his money where his mouth is and tell Cooke don't bother to come back until next season.

I'm not sure if I agree with that, but he does have a point: the hypocrisy in the Pens camp is a bit amusing. So much complaining over how Crosbeek is abused but they have a guy like Cooke on the team who is an important player for them. He's crucial to the penalty kill game, IIRC. So what gives?

Price injury scare this morning. Right knee. It's the end of the world. Left practice early.

    Will play tonight.

    Nothing serious.

REST HIM AND DON'T PLAY HI ON THURSDAY!

Roenick is not everyone's cup of tea, but I've always liked the guy.

Wouldn't want to see Price injured for you guys... unless we're playing you. :D

Why wouldn't you want him to play on Thursday?

Pretty important game that day, in case you forgot

We'll lose him for the rest of the season and playoffs. Lucic will run into him, acl gone, knee reconstruction and see you next season.

    :)

So, with the Northeast division on the line, you want to put it on the shoulders of Alex Auld.

I should kick your ass just on principle alone

Markov skated for the 1st time after his last injury. :tuttosport:

ain't coming back this season though.
Just in time to become a free agent.

I can't see him coming back.

Subban, Wiz, and Weber are the Offensive Defensemen on this team now, as they are all much younger than Markov.

They need to re-sign Georges, and somehow do away with Sopel, Gill, and Spacek.

Bring back Hamrlik, and then sign a good stay at home defenseman in the offseason.
