That was the best Hockey game I've seen in a very very long time. That was old school hockey, reminding me of the classic 70's battles between the Habs and Broons.

Anyone who is a hockey fan who watched that game, and didn't wish that all games were like this, are not hockey fans.

I'm pissed, of course, that the habs lost, but that right there was a fucking game.

We can't play this kind of hockey. I mean, Boston's tough guys went after Spacek, Hamrlik and Pyatt. All ballerina's even if Hammer is a big guy he never fights and it was vs Thornton. These guys used their fists and their elbow pads to pound on us. ok fine. We showed some respect by Price not killing Thomas and Pouliot(who never fights, 2nd career fight?) KO'ing Krejci only once.

I love this king of hockey but we need more players that can handle it.

Next game March 8th in Montreal.

If they were serious about bringing up a true banger, they would have brought up Andrew Conboy instead.

That game will define their season. Either they rebound from this, or they will go into a tailspin.

The problem is, their most skilled big man is Max Pac, and he's too valuable crashing the net, and using that deadly accurate shot of his to be spending a lot of time in the penalty box.
