Man, does Edmonton have a lot of young talent... tons of speed, a pretty good top line, a solid tender (when he's not laid out with the back, or in the drunk tank)...

This team might surprise a few people this year... not a playoff team, but they could be better than expected. That defense is pretty suspect though...

Reminds me a bit of the situation surrounding Colorado last year...

Yeah, they could very well be another Colorado. Much of it will depend on how well Hall does and whether Hemsky can stay healthy. Too good of a passer to be missing from the ice.

Ohhh Hemsky, what a beauty move a couple minutes ago. Yeah, Hemsky's going to be a point a game+. Very underrated player by way too many people. Oilers fans have got to be psyched... some rough times ahead still, but this is going to be a real fun team to watch.

I was thinking about Eberle and Paajarvi for my pool but decided to go safe. bah, I guess somebody else needs to win or it'll be boring.

About tonight's game. Don't forget me with the PK bandwagon.

Price was good. Spacek and Season Gill were cack. O'Byrne and Picard are AHL quality. Pleks was good. Expect more form Pouliot and Kostitsyn. Eller's got potential. Nice to see the new guys score. Long season, not gonna be easy.

TSN puts us out of the series in 9th place.
