Owned some Pens fans tonight. They couldn't tell me how Crosby received cheap shots the over night, so they gave up. That's what I thought. They couldn't talk shit after those slashes on Hank after the final whistle.

Beat the Blues 3-2 tonight. Filppula was sick nasty and had a brace. Thank goodness he's back.

    Take a look at this.

    http://www.andrewsstarspage.com/ind..._average_attendance_since_1989_90/118-2008-09

The Red Wings have had consistently solid attendances for the past two decades, much like the Habs have had full houses for a while now.

But look at the Pens. Their average attendance was mediocre for several years.

Yet some people still say we have fair-weather fans and claim that if we were horrible we'd get poor attendances. Well, not quite. We always beat the league average. But that's because we're fucking Hockeytown, baby.

    :sigh:

Price deserved the shutout but Martin decided to put S. Kostitsyn with one, no two men down while Metropolit, Plekanec and Pyatt are on the bench watching. The coach lost us this important point for us yesterday.

Looking good, 6-2 over the Wild with 9 minutes left. Very solid game, about to go up six on the Flamers for the 8th spot.

Coming down to the stretch. Only a few more games left for one and all.

I can't help but think one of Boston or Montreal is going to choke up that final playoff spot. Right now, it looks like it will be the Habs because the Bruins have two games in hand and the Thrashers have one in hand. Sorry, guys.

    :snoop:
