Don't forget. The cap is 56.8m and the column to calculate the salary on nhlnumbers.com is cap HIT. If the player has 0.00m use last year's cap hit...it's on the right.

I prefer old style looking at the newspaper or sites for the stats.

Is there a site we could use that uses the system we're using?(3pts for SO, 2 for goals, 1 assists...)?

We'll just use the old system of counting the points by ourselves by using the stats from NHL.com or any other hockey sites.

That's what I did to calculate the total cap but too complicated for me to put the stats in. I'm sure it can be done.

You just want to find the defensemen that will give you the most goals during the season. That's why I hope nobody picked someone like Phanueff over a Green, because the latter is cheaper by like 2 million and gives you 50% more points.
