Fabrizio Miccoli wants to stay at Fiorentina but his agent has opened the door for a switch to Roma.
The Italian international is currently part-owned by both Fiorentina and Juventus following his Tuscan move in August.
It had looked as if the Viola would buy him outright this summer after a splendid first season at the Stadio Franchi.
But reports recently have suggested that Miccoli could be re-signed by Juve and then offered to Roma in their attempts to net Antonio Cassano.
"It is the player’s desire to stay in Florence," his agent Francesco Caliandro told Nuova Spazio Radio.
"However, any decision which is made will be accepted without any problems by my client. That includes Roma.
"Fabrizio is a model professional
and he has the maximum respect for any job offers which he receives."
In other transfer news, Sampdoria have signed Luigi Sala from Atalanta. The 31-year-old defender has arrived on a free transfer.
Samp have also renewed their ownership of Corrado Colombo, last season at Livorno, and Biagio Pagano.
However, both the attacker and midfielder are expected to spend next season on loan at other clubs.

Cassano pronto alla svolta Grazia Neri
E' indicato da molte parti oggi, mercoledì, il giorno del possibile accordo definitivo tra Juve e Roma per il trasferimento di Antonio Cassano in bianconero. Per domani, giovedì, invece, c'è il primo incontro da febbraio a oggi tra Roma e giocatore per definire il futuro.
Il club giallorosso potrebbe comunque spiegare di aver trovato un'intesa (o di non averla trovata...) per la sua cessione e dare il via libera al giocatore di aprire trattative ufficiali con la Juve. Che la Roma ci tenga a Cassano è tutto da dimostrarsi, tanto che Franco Sensi, in una delle sue ultime esternazioni pubbliche disse: "Ci sono dei problemi che non mi aiutano a tenerlo, problemi caratteriali, non economici. Ultimamente ha fatto partite da schiaffi".
L'idea Cassano, alla Juve, è nata la scorsa estate con l'avvento di Capello in bianconero. La prima anticipazione di Virgilio Sport, a tale riguardo, risale addirittura al settembre 2004. Cassano volle la Juve più o meno dallo stesso momento. Soprattutto perché Capello è l’unico allenatore-papà che lui abbia mai avuto, perché ci sono gli ex compagni Emerson e Zebina, perché a Torino si può vincere anche in Europa.
Il talento di Barivecchia, consapevole del proprio carattere difficile, sarebbe stressato dal fatto di dover riscostruire rapporti con allenatori sempre diversi (Voeller, Del Neri, Conti e ora Spalletti) fatto che gli risulta umanamente complesso. Con Capello, invece, aveva trovato il feeling giusto, colui che lo ha realizzato sia umanamente che sportivamente.
Non va assolutamente sottovalutata l'intervista rilasciata a Sky dallo stesso Cassano, che interviste non ne rilascia mai per principio, lo scorso inverno.
In questa intervista si capì chiaramente come Cassano fosse intenzionato a ritrovare il suo ex allenatore nel futuro, rivelando la "delusione" dal progetto romanista e non risparmiando commenti piuttosto taglienti.
"Abbraccerò Capello -promette - perché mi manca sempre più. Sarò contestato lo so, ma a me non interessa". Le dichiarazioni di Cassano fanno il paio con quelle rilasciate a fine anno, sempre in tv: "Capello mi manca - dice Cassano - è stata la persona più importante per me. Lo ringrazierò sempre. Ha saputo gestirmi come pochi".
Chiaramente parlò anche di contratto, che scade nel 2006. "A giugno tirerò le mie somme e vedremo. Mi aspettavo una chiamata della Roma prima che partissi per gli Europei. E non c'è stata. Forse non si aspettavano che andassi così bene. E nemmeno dopo c'è stata una chiamata. Ci sono rimasto male. Quando io ho avuto delle difficoltà nessuno mi ha aiutato; se gli altri sono in difficoltà, perché dovrei aiutarli?".
Cassano ammise che non sarebbe stato facile lasciare una città come Roma: "Ma andare via da questa città sarà molto difficile. Specialmente se penso a mia mamma. Lei è incredibilmente più legata a Roma che a Bari. Se provo a dirgli che ce ne dobbiamo andare, si mette a piangere".
"L'intervista di Cassano? E' un ragazzo sincero e la sincerità va premiata - disse poco tempo dopo l'amministratore delegato Giraudo - Si tratta di un giocatore dotato di simpatia naturale e straordinaria: è un grande campione nato sulle strade capace dei colpi eccezionali".
E' meno chiaro come la Roma farà fruttare l'affare Cassano. Soldi, tanti, 15 milioni pare concordato più una contropartita di peso. S'era parlato di Appiah inizialmente, poi di Adrian Mutu, contropartita che è stata la "top" per lungo tempo.
Pare certo che la Juve sacrificherà il bomber rumeno non è ancora chiaro se direttamente alla Roma oppure sarà ceduto alla Fiorentina di Prandelli, ex mentore dell'attaccante, per avere Miccoli. Fatto questo emerso da certa stampa ma un po' scartato dalle nostre fonti che valutiamo altamente attendibili.
Piuttosto appare chiaro, comunque, che per far soldi, la Juve voglia liquidare alla Fiorentina i tre giocatori in comproprietà, Miccoli, Maresca e Chiellini, valore complessivo: 7,5 milioni più 2,5 milioni più 1,5 milioni. Totale 11,5 milioni sebbene il costo del difensore sia lievitato negli ultimi mesi.
Capello e Moggi, indiscrezione delle ultime ore, hanno valutato l'ipotesi di riportare Giorgio Chiellini da Firenze a Torino e girarlo poi alla Roma nell'ambito dell'operazione-Cassano. Ipotesi che potrebbe concretizzarsi proprio oggi, con l'arrivo del fludificante Pasqual a Firenze da Arezzo.

Anyway even if it's not today we will definitely know by the end of this month since Roma need to close their financial year by the 30th of June. If no transfer is reached by that day then no Cassano to Juve. What's good is that Roma need that money by the end of this month or they're screwed for their transfer market.

It's not published yet cos there's a small prob but this article kinda proves that Cassano (and probably Mancini) is coming to Juve considering (a) Zeman never lies (b) Juve is Cassano's only suitor.

Zeman Let Down By Roma
The former Lecce coach admitted that he had already discussed the sales of Cassano and Mancini.
Zdenek Zeman revealed that he was close to sitting on the Roma bench. Meetings took place with the Giallorossi and everything seemed to point towards a return to Rome.
“For me with Roma it was a serious thing. I spoke about programmes, purchases and sales. It seems like I have vanished for a month or that I invented everything. I can say that I was contacted by Roma and I spoke with Rossella Sensi and Daniele Pradè. We spoke about Roma’s future.
“Then they asked for time, because they told me, that before they had to resolve some situations. Technical situations? They didn’t seem technical, but situations which evidently they were unable to resolve.”
Zeman confirmed that Cassano and Mancini are on their way out.
“Roma had foreseen some sales. Cassano and Mancini? Yes. Now I must think about my future since I have not spoken to other teams which were after me so as to respect the agreement with Roma.”
Zeman is expected to join either Bologna or Brescia in the coming weeks.
