Milan and Juve seem to be using the same tactic here.

Juve have come out saying they want Cassano but they can't afford him, Milan have done exactly the same with Gila.

It is just a ploy to try and pressurise Roma and Parma into lowering their price.

What worries me is that Moggi admitted Juve are after Cassano...so that means that we're not????
No worries- its a ploy to get Roma to lower their demands. Everyone on the Juventus board are saying they are broke- bullcrap. A team that signs a huge sponspership deal and wins the scudetto is far from it.

Admitting publically we have no money makes it seem that we dont.

No crap. Especially since we haven't bought anyone else yet... We have only signed free agents thus far.

Juve's definition of having no money is not like that of many other big clubs.Inter may be willing to spend and eat into their yearly revenue without reimbursing it with sales, but not us.

imho, i dont really think we need cassano while we have mutu, although it would be great if moggi pull a straight swap deal, mutu <=> cassano, this is possible as we reached some secret deals with roma - lettin go of nonda, for the cash we are prepared to spend on cassano, we should really place them elsewhere, creative playmaker and solid defender are our first priority and to be honest, i dont really think cassano, i like gilardino but knowing him joining milan is just hearbreak, but this doesnt mean we then have to buy cassano to keep up the competition with milan as we have a fairly strong strike force, well just my two cents

Forget Cassano lets get Messi.
The Argentinian from Barca? Good player, but too young, and we need someone with real, certifiable talent. Given, Cassano is a hell-raiser, and may be more trouble than he's worth, but I for one hope that he does arrive, and perhaps settle down with the influence of older, more level-headed people like Canna, Thuram, and DP. Cassano and Ibra next year would be a searing attack, with DP, Mutu, and Trezeguet... wow
