I am gonna pulling for the Lakers - perhaps it's that reverse jinx that's required, or does that only work for BadAss? :numnum: :boh: :b81:
I don’t understand how you can cheer for this current version of Golden State. Over half their possessions are set a screen shoot a long 3. It’s awful basketball to watch. It’s effective because they have some of the best shooters ever, but even more so because without hand checking and the physicality of late 80s to mid 00s basketball, you can’t guard as close because you can’t handcheck and play physical to stop a guy just blowing by you if get caught flat footed guarding too tight, and therefore “so-called” contested threes are not really contested at all anymore.

The Lakers however, play a far more physical, old school style of ball. A lot closer to the stuff we grew up loving. I know you hate Lebron, but man, it’s so much nicer watching teams like the Lakers, Sixers, Nuggets that actually play the game and don’t jack up 43 3s every game like the Warriors and Celtics do.

I hope they bring handchecking back to stop this shit. I hate watching games where 50+ % of a teams attempts are threes. It’s boring as shit. Bring back handchecking so defenders can guard tight and stop these stupid 3s being constantly taken off the dribble.

Golden State, by the way, played much more enjoyable basketball during their early run and with KD. And also only took like ~30% of their attempts from 3. Still high but more reasonable. They played a better all-around game on offense. Now they’re awful to watch.

Oh. Don't get me wrong. I don't enjoy the way The Warriors play - I admire what they stand for and that they were the first to deploy this approach in the modern era (past 10-15 years). I don't hate Lebum - hate is too strong. I merely dislike him.

I want to see teams driving to the basket - it's a lot more enjoyable then chucking threes.

I would love to see Phoenix, Denver or even Philly win, but I know it's either going to be Boston or LA - it's just a hunch.

I'm not sure what you're laughing at. Is it because the Unibrow Tranny isn't there? He missed a huge chunk of games and it's based on the regular season. I'm more alarmed that GF and Embiid don't feature on either team but it could just be voter fatigue.

Who is GF? Do you see Brooks in there? Where is McDaniels? What is White doing there when hes not even the best defender on his team? Where is Bridges? Claxton? And yes AD too. He played in 56 games, guys with less games than that have made All NBA teams

GF is Greek Freak aka Giannis. White and Dildo Bricks have no business being there.

Sixers got the match point at home. If this was last seasons Boston id say they still got this. But this season they arent really special. I think Philly got this.

Suns would be long done and dusted in this series if not for Booker. They need KD to actually play like KD, the one they gave up all their young talent and depth and draft picks for. He’s been awful against Denver.

46% from the field in the series. 22% from 3. 4 turnovers/game. Assist/TO ratio of 1.2. Just really poor. They have a chance if they get vintage KD for the last two games, but this ain’t it so far.

I dont think they do much this game even with KD beung himself. You arent winning with 2 players, even if theyre Booker and KD. CP3 is done, Ayton isnt it, and they have zero depth. They should rebuild around those 2 in the summer. Trade Ayton (and if possible CP3), get players that fit, and try again next season. And get a new coach. This guy was overrated all along
