Its hard to say, because we dont have much movable assets/contracts and draft picks. First and foremost I want us to re-sign Naz Reid, cant lose him, he is unrestricted free agent and carries our bench. Need to get rid of Jaylen Nowell, been a failure, also re-sign NAW (Nickeil-Alexander-Walker) to decent contract, he has been fantastic defensive guard/wing.

We need a good backup point guard the most, Mike Conley when he sits has been a disaster, Jmac, our short ass backup PG has been terrible in playoffs. Our guard rotation the biggiest issue, as soon as Ant or Conley rests we have terrible backups (mentionned Nowell and Jmac). NAW only decent guard backup, and he is mainly defender and occasional spot up shooter. Need a true 6th man scorer, ball handler and occasional playmaker. Kyle Anderson is a big wing/forward, and when he plays off bench he has to do all the ball handling and playmaking (he is not really a scorer). Awkward fit even if he has been useful, those tasks need to be given to a real quality guard.

Hard to say names, havent seen what free agents are availabe, and we dont have much cap space, maybe if lucky mid level exception contrat (8-9m a year). I'm mainly focused on re-signing Naz Reid and NAW since we have the bird rights on them can pay them whatever it takes. And for vet minimum try to find decent backup guards. Maybe the return of Pat Bev? He was fantastic for us. Or the washed Reggie Jackson (he doesnt even get in the rotation for nuggets), he is a scorer so could be useful off bench .

Think you are going to struggle re-signing Naz Reid because of cap space (last I checked) but he's turned into an important player. I also liked NAW but he's one where it's not the end of the world if he leaves.

Think Wolves have Naz Reid Bird rights? Unless I misunderstood. He can talk to any team, but if he wants he can tell Wolves to match.

NAW isn't big deal for us, but he has been surprisingly very useful 3 n D guard/wing in nuggets series. Elevated his status with Mcdaniels down.

For backup guard I can forsee Wolves going after someone like Delon Wright.

Ham has made good adjustments here. Vanderbilt on Green disrupted them and introducing Walker (who I liked a lot earlier in the season, but after his injury just can't get playing time) out of nowhere was nice to see, and he responded defensively. AD woke up from his slumber and we win comfortably. Now come prepared for game 4

AD is a fucking beast. When he locks in, he’s the best all-around player in the league right now. It’s too bad injury and fitness issues from those injuries make it pretty tough for him to play like that for 35+ minutes every single game. His stat line is Hakeem like. 33 minutes - 25 pts on 7-10 shooting - 13 boards - 4 blocks - 3 steals - 3 assists. :delpiero:

Love seeing D’lo cooking too against another ex-team with a fanbase that said he wouldn’t show up in the playoffs. 8-13 for 21 points, including 5-8 from three.

And a shoutout to Bron for stepping back and playing more of a supporting role to AD, and cleaning up his passing a ton. 8 assists - 0 turnovers is huge.

Game 4 is pivotal imo. Whoever wins it, wins the series.

Seeing James not having the ball all the time is kinda strange, hes letting others run plays more often and is engaged defensively. And i like to see it. And i love to see that our own former lottery pick is doing well, we kinda let them all go and now that one is back, i want him to succeed. Better option than chasing Kyrie at 50M and letting Rui and Reaves maybe leave in the process.

I think game 4 is close. Kerr will adjust again and they will score more. We must stay aggresive and attack them, they are smaller and less athletic

I told you The Fakers would win game 3. The Warriors got arrogant and complacent in the 2nd - you have to take advantage of LeBum being scorless in the first. They were lax on defense and kept throwing the ball away - too many TOs.

The UniBrow Tranny was a beast but so was D-Lo. I expect LeBum and someone else to step up in game 4, but Unibrow Tranny will be subdued - he won't be as impactful as in this game.

Kerr is great at making adjustments, so I am sure he has a plan for game 4. Game 4 is pivotal, so I expect a very tightly contested encounter.

Since I'm neutral I tune in hoping it to be a close game, but it wasn't. However Poole putting up a comedian show made me cackling, so I guess its worth the time lmao

Lonnie Walker IV just destroyed Steph in that 4th quarter

Almost outscored GSW by himself in the 4th. 15 pts. Golden State had 17 lol. That Curry turnover to end the game was mindblowing bad. Also shooting 3-14 from 3. Lakers have to win games like these where Curry has off shooting nights. Good thing they pulled it off.

@Bianconero81 is old man shouting at sky right now ;)

Still, if there is a team that can come back from down 3-1 in these playoffs it’s definitely GSW if they get hot from 3.

Who tf is this Lonnie Walker dude? Playing like prime Iverson out there :lol2:

He's carrying Philly rn
Joined from San Antonio this summer. He's been great early in the season, our 3rd best player arguably. Then went down with injury and disappeared from rotation for some reason. I thought he's better than Beasley all along, so don't understand why he never played, but sure glad he's back now. He was standing in the corner all game, defending well on the other side. Then he was like, you guys can rest, I got this now lol. Amazing game from a great fella

@Bianconero81 sorry dude. You can stop James, you can stop Davis, but you damn sure can't stop (insert random Lakers bench players name that's gonna explode next). this team has that something

End was funny tho. Green passing to AD, who then dribbles instead of calling timeout, and then somehow it's a jumpball and not a foul. And then Curry falls down with the ball after the jumpball and it goes out of bounds.

Game 5 then need a way to defend the Curry pnr with Davises man setting the screen. Warriors destroying us with that

He was great early in the season on offense, defense was appalling levels bad. But I think that was more the fact that Lakers early season defense was bad all over. When he’s played in this series, his defense has been at worst decent, if not good. Definitely prefer him to Beasley. Tonight was just phenomenal.

I think early season is not a too accurate picture. We got a new coach, we had old dudes, the team wasn't constructed well really, and we tried to take it easy probably. You can see towards the end of that 2-10 streak that guys started finding their roles, Davis was starting to beast and the team looked better. Even that team looked like a playoff team at one point before injuries started taking us out

So funny lol. Just a comedy of errors in the last 10 seconds. Never seen Steph do anything like that in the clutch.

And yeah. That screen was killing us and pulling Davis out too far. Kept giving them easy buckets in the paint. Didn’t help that Vanderbilt was basically unplayable tonight either. If you told me before the series that the Warriors would have a game where they outscore us in the paint by 6 and lose, I’d have said your crazy haha

In the 1st quarter Payton just randomly ran out to the locker room from the court. Then he did it again in the 2nd half i think. Poole is a joke, talking smack in game 1 then getting benched for Moody, Di Vincenzo after playing like crap lol. Its a strange but exciting series, if i wasnt cheering for the Lakers id hope we lose next one and it extends
