Why is that? I could see you guys getting Kwahi or Klay.
I don't see it. They are not the only teams with money for a max slot, and with the mess that this team has been in the past couple of weeks, especially in the front office, why would you? If you are Kawhi, why wouldn't you go to a team that has Jerry West and Steve Ballmer in the fornt office and ownership?

If you are Klay, why wouldn't you stay? This organization had a paradigm shift in the middle of the season, from being patient for at least through this year, to being desperate and trading everything away for a player that would still not make you compete on the same level as Golden State.

I'm sort of hoping that the Lakers don't make it this year and get another lottery pick. And hopefully some humility will creep in as well.

It’s kind of a double edged sword. The longer you guys go without a second max guy, the more the young guys develop, you gain extra assets, etc. But the more likely you guys are to trade them for something shiny in a moment of desperation.

That said, this summer should be really fun for us neutrals.

Honestly, the one player that I would seriously look at and it probably won't cost max money, is Nikola Vucevic.

true, but even without Lonzo, 38 points in one quarter!? thats just lack of effort in my book
It's more lack of intelligence from what I'm seeing. Really poor spacing on the defensive side. Players just looking confused like they've never defended as a unit before.

Hawks shooting 10-15 or whatever it is was from 3 in the first quarter didn't help.

KCP with 2 easy missed lay-ups now. :sergio:

They will get a 2nd all star, but it wont be those. Kawhi already hinted he doesnt to play in Lakers with Lebron, most likely Clippers bound. And Klay seems like a GSW diehard. See Durant and Green leaving before he ever would.

Walton should be canned if he can't get the defensive side of the ball fixed. Losing Lonzo to injury shouldn't drop us from 6th best D in the league in mid-January, to worst D in the league since then. A little ridiculous.

That 2 on 1 finish from Kuz.:sergio:

And that's like 8 missed easy lay-ups tonight. No points in 4 minutes now in the 4th quarter.. This is the response after beating Boston away.

I want Vucevic. They probably wouldn't even need to give him a max contract. A stretch 5 that can also rebound? Sign me up.

Remember last week or so when you guys were hyper drive about AD and giving whole team? Told you it's not a must to have the highest calibre superstar in 5 position. Better to get a cheaper Cousins or Vucevic. Then trade Ingram or whoever for another star wing or point.

Don’t trade Ingram. Dude is the most efficient guy on the team.

He is the biggiest asset they have, if they gonna trade for another top star, especially a wing, he would have to used as bargaining chip. That's assuming the big FA they would get is a center.
