He's not a center. He's a stretch 4. He can drain it from 3 and is a good rebounder, but not a great athlete
:agree:

He went through stretches of games where he looked like a lottery pick, and then others where he's almost invisible. Was fantastic when it mattered most in big ten tournament and ncaa tournament this year. Was the heart of the team in driving UM to the National Title game.

On the offensive end, has huge upside and could be a steal at 25, but his defence in space is pretty weak. Had trouble keeping up with athletic players. Also not a great rebounder for a guy his size.

4 more picks.

Let's see who they get. Could end up being the pick that I like the best.

Does Diop go here?

Great value at 47 if that happens

Yeah. I'm not feeling a player with 10 syllables in his name

So, in this world of "look at me, look at me, Look at how much attention I am directing towards myself with all of this fake outrage".

And yes, I am talking about Donovan Mitchell here.

Why is it that no one, and I mean NO ONE, made a big deal about Blake Griffin winning ROTY after missing his first season?

But Mitchell thinks it's ok to pull up to the show in a van that says "Rookie?" on the side of it.

Anyone who questions whether Simmons deserved the award simply has to look at the stretch of games when he took over after Embiid went out. That team made it to the 3rd seed because of Ben.

Simmons ))))))0 Not Micthel not Tatum .... this league joke
Are you saying that Simmons did not deserve it?

Yes he is. According to the NBA Rules, he is a rookie. If you do not play a single minute in your rookie season due to injury, you are a rookie. Which is why I brought up Blake Griffin. Same situation. No one said anything back then, but all of a sudden it's wrong now. The rules haven't changed.

Joel Embiid was considered a rookie last year, even though he missed 2 seasons due to injury after he got drafted.

His broken foot didn't heal. The 76ers abandoned any hope of playing him after that. He was supposed to be out for 3 months, but they did tests in February, and shut him down.

The only one obsessed with it was Mitchell and Adidas

That's an over reaction to what has been a pretty well played joke all season from Mitchell. Truth is not a lot separate Simmons and Mitchell, so either could have win it.

I thought Mitchell had the better year and did more for his team, but you can't really fault someone for having support.

Anyway, should be fun to see these two guys grow over the next couple of years.
