I like Nance a lot, i think hes a better fit to this team than Randle actually, so i would not like if we trade him. i think Randle is gone after this season either way
Ok. Let's say we get...................................................

Lebron next year. Just a wild notion.

You would have Bron, Nance, and Kuzma as a stretch 4.

How many PF do you need? Would there not be more value in moving Nance for say a 1st round pick to help in other areas?

well when you put it like that... between Nance and Kuzma id chose the later. the question is, are you sure Bron would be the stretch 4 for us, if he came? i mean, thats definitely where i would personally prefer to see him, but he might not be OK with it. just a thought

Kuzma has really impressed me, I'm excited to see how he improves. Ingram is getting better at taking on the responsibility and attacking, he was clutch in this last game.

Get destroyed by Pacers and Pistons with Butler, but he is back (tho still playing while suffering from sickness), and 2nd game in 6 days vs OKC, and Butler GOES HAM in 4th quarter :star:

Super clutch, he doesnt score much so far in the games, but he is bit of a QB/floor general wolfpack alpha who sacrifices the main points getter duties (Towns and Teague were on fire up til then) for that leadership/facilititator approach in most of the quarters (only 10 shot attempts whole game). But decided in this 4th quarter, fvck it, we are in trouble I'll take over :D Jimmy G Buckets :touched: Exactly the last stretch moments in games that resulted in so many losses after leading last season. Towns gets rattled, Wiggins goes cold, Teague crowded out, but there is no phasing Butler :star:

Porzingis entering animal mode right about now, last night scoring personal best 38 points in a tight victory over the Nuggets. I believe he's atm ranked third for PPG in all of NBA

"If Taj is open, I'm gonna try to look him off, throw the ball to KAT and Wigs." @King of Kings

6-1 record with him on the court :star: Total leader and facilitator, yesterday he scored only 4 pts but he was still key leader for the win, just knows what needs to be done to find winning plays, get steals, charges, assists, opportunistic movement, whole package. Just feeding the young guns so far and sacrificing his scoring for the overall effort.

If they win vs Charlotte tonight (or this morning for me), they will be tied for nr one record in the league, still early, but good signs. Aslong as Butler stays healthy lol (blow out losses when he was out 2 games).

I would be doing that above if I was Russ right now  Imagine playing with Melo suddenly instead of fucking Enes Kanter :nico:

Even if its harder with the no trade clause that Melo gets to keep in the deal, I would be FUMING if I was NY fan (Dolan needs to hide), if I give up an elite scorer, regardless of the black hole drama, for fucking Enes Kanter, McDermott and 2018 2nd round pick lol, its litterally better to fish in free agent then this...
you still think it was such a terrible deal for NYK and such a great deal for OKC?

Yes, yes I do. Its still Kanter and Mcbuckets, run of the mill players on bad contracts (in Kanters case). If you mean how certain Latvian is performing now, Porzingod would go OFF like the potential superstar he is no matter which HOF level allstar scorer left him room to do grow, wether it was Melo or anyone else. Thats just the natural progression of young freakish stud. And Knicks HAD to get rid of Melo, just not meshing and the organisation issa joke, part ways, fine with everyone. But what you get in return is lolsy, no matter the temporary forms etc.

But its simple maths, OKC got a 20+ pts player per game (I saw him vs Minnesota twice, he is flawless scorer, he heated up and carried them on stretch both times, he scored what should been game winner 3 seconds left, until Wiggins responded in kind) while all they gave away is....nothing much (Kanter is near elite offensive post scorer, but liability in everything else). If any OKC deal is looking less good then when it happend, due to the turnout performances of what they gave up, its Paul George for Oladipo and Sabonis. George deal is a steal, great player, but both players they gave up are doing GREAT for Pacers (especially Oladipo, most en fuego shooting guard in the league lol), so Pacers got more value for their trade then we expected, more so because PG was expiring next summer.

have to say Kanter is doing very good for NYK, they've formed a very decent partnership with Porzingis, the main minus I see in Kristaps is his weak rebounding, but the big Turk has stepped up in rebounds lately, when they did the trade I thought surely they were gonna try to trade him, but atm I don't see a reason why they should.

the big problem is see with Melo trade is not what OKC traded but what they got, Melo is just not worthy to play the big role he automatically commands based on his past as an NBA superstar. In a tight loss against Boston he shot 3/17 from game and next game got ejected

Kanter seems to fit with Porzingis who is way better defender then anyone ever realized, which is good because Kanter is black hole defensively but is a very crafty player in the post. But he is still complete and utter dead weight on that contract, he is gone in the summer, just a rental.

The big problem with OKC and Melo right now, not that there is a big problem, but Billy Donovan has no idea how to make their unit work. Russ tries to create more and shoot less, PG is crafty all around most skillfull, but Donovan seems to only use him as spot up shooter, while Melo is just a pure shooter who waits for his shots calmly, but there is not much of a gameplan to give them the open looks they should get opponents fearing Russ driving to the paint. Its still very early, but having seem them play, blame this more on coach then the players so far. Melo if anything has shown when I seen him he deserves to be the go-to-guy in clutch last minute chances. PG shyes away from that and as alpha as Russ is, his decision making can be too erratic.

he's always been very good at this, but apart from being an elite scorer he's not much of a help to the team either offensively or defensively, doesn't really help his teammates much. if he was a solid team player shooting 20 ppg I'd agree that he's a great addition, but he's not, apart from shooting the ball and doing his own individual thing guy is more of a liability than help

loving the video

that was great

and yeah, Porzingis is a fucking monster this season. Phil Jacksons time at the Knicks was a disaster, but atleast he gave them their franchise player for the next 10-15 years
I'm not sure he can keep going at this pace for a whole season though, the guy's still very young and developing physically, he's had his share of injury issues in the past and is playing an impossible game, like someone described it "he's like Tracy McGrady in Yao Ming's body"
