@Ronn did you see Spurs v Wolves game? So frustrating, close game, fucking Green doing step backs  Aldridge on fire first half (tho biggiest killer of the game was a flawless wiggins, enjoying himself without the klaw), Rudy Gay sick post moves and hammer passes, and most impressive of all for you, Dejounte Murray looking like a beast defensively (and his 16 pts all created by himself exploding into the paint), was he allways this good or extra training with the Klaw? Only one who sucked for you was Pau, man was he off offensively (him and aldridge defended well tho).

For Wolves still pretty disjounted team, too many desperate iso plays for my liking, Thibs really doesnt to have any clue how to build and offensive system. Butler was quiet, Towns crowded out/forced into mistakes, Teague manhandled by Murray (huge physical advantage really) to the point Thibs weirdly enough played entire 4th quarter with Tyus Jones, which was harsh.

And the funny good feel story of the day in NBA (after the shocking scandalous shit of Bobby Portis hospitalizing teammate Niko Mirotic with sucker punch in practice...) is easily this lol :

Ball ran into a grown ass man tonight. Better get tough quick.
Beverly is a tough matchup for your first start. He is a tough, tough defender. I thought Ball was basically unfazed though. He battled down low for rebounds.

Welcome to the NBA fish

Lavar did not do Lonzo any services to say the least, he created unwanted rivalry with most pro guards around, who besides doing their job, will just have extra motivation to fvck him up.

Snoop said it best: "Lavar threw Lonzo into the lions den with porkchop drawers on. This is only the beginning".

And it won't faze the kid in the least. He's had to deal with his daddy since AAU

I'm not going to judge him on one game against one of the top two or three defensive point guards in the league.

Its just one game indeed. But if you gonna make a prediction since we know the type of player he is/his limitations: He has high potential to struggle more, his shooting form is awkward from the arc, is not the type to blow by with his handles or athleticism (except in transition free space), does not have a mid range shot, so if he gets extra attention from defenders his scoring potential will go down alot, and he wasnt a scoring type from the beginning anyways. So pretty much the type of player he is, great facilitator (transition passing beast), you need great shooters around him for him kick out to after drives etc. It looked kinda awkward him going in just to hand it off to roll man in Brook Lopez. He is bad pnr PG (which is odd for PG), so defenitely awkward fit for him building offensive plays Brooks rolling off him or vice versa etc.

It defenitely will be interesting to watch him further, how he adapts trying to adjust trying to lead a bad team as a 19 year old. Whole lot of pressure.

And Ingram being hot garbage didnt help. That useless fvck shot like what, 20% FG? I watched the game to see if Kuzma will play, and instead he was completely benched except for garbage minutes at end, for an Ingram who couldnt physically go over a short PG in Teodosevic lol.

Yeah, his Pick and Roll issues were well known. I think they are going to go for the retro Showtime type of offense, but for fuck sake, his wingmen have to hit some shots. Lopez 7-19, and Ingram 3-15. If they are going to go with a Pick and Roll, then either A) the guy who sets the pick ACTUALLY needs to roll, or B) Lonzo is going to have to take it to the basket and either dish or go up with it. You can't have a pick and roll always set up outside the Arc. That is just too telegraphed.

Ingram is the one that disappointed me greatly last night. I expected so much more.

I sure did. Green's game was so different than what I knew from him. Hope he can keep it up. Murray was great in defense but somewhat raw in offense. This is his 2nd season so that's understandable. He'll get better. Parkers one month absence will be great for him.
You're so right on Gasol. He's frustrating as always. We have a big man crisis after Timmy retired.
I agree that Timberwolves are still work under progress, but they have a lot of talent. Towns was not that great in this game, but he's one of the best young big men around. I feel TT will turn this team around.

Raw offensively, but still got his buckets, if he develops a sweet jumper, he will become a all round dope PG in the future.

I hope Thibs turns it around, did not like seeing no ball movement and so much iso hopeless iso plays...

Speaking of rookie debutes, if the mini monster Dennis Smith Jr is the future Westbrook (best 2017 rookie by a mile for me, ROTY award will defenitely be his or Simmons), this foxy kid INSANE explosiveness reminds me so much of John Wall. Holy hell is it entertaining to watch him...

Q19hYY.gif

Very few defenders will have a split second chance to touch him with that ridicolous blow by ability.

I don't want to have to say that I told you so about De'Aaron Fox, Os, but I will.

I told you so :D
I will hate to tell you I told you so at seasons end when Lonzo isnt even top 5 of the rookies :D

Fox speed is insane, has nice touches with drives/floaters too, but as I said back then, to become more complete, he needs a jump shot (tho he seems to have a decent mid range game unlike Lonzo), prolly gonna shoot garbage from 3pt line. But with that ridicolous explosiveness, question is, does he need it?

But to the rookie that plays with true mamba superstar mentality off the bat in his first fucking game, bow down to this mofo Serge :delpiero: :D

Assists like crazy, scores effortlessly in every way possible, super smooth with his handles and jumper (look at half spin then jumper at 03.20) explosive as heck, one of the best verticals you would ever see at 48 (look at 04.25, standing drunk off a leap as 6'2 guard???). Zero nerves shown, seems to want to lead the team immediately in every play. He just needs to stay healthy (crazy high D Rose like jumps scares me) and this kid will be a guranteed high impact franchise star.
