Understandable, there is no way I was watching it live either.

Btw, I so want Kyle Kuzma in Wolves. Kid looks like he will become a legit hidden gem.

I was thinking the exact same thing. If he can develop, I think he can make both Randle and/or Nance expendable.

I know it's just pre season, but watching Wolves play very tight (2nd half) game vs GSW. Promising signs. Really gritty and grinding quality to the team compared to last season.

They are going to be a good team. Of this, there is no doubt.

And, like you, even though it is just pre-season, I really want Kuzma to be starting as a stretch 4.

As Lonzo jokingly said when asked if he knew that Kuzma was this good in college.

“In college he wasn’t that good, tbh. I don’t even remember him when we played them [Utah]. Now, I’m happy he’s on my team.

Legit stretch 4 stud in the making. Soft touches, has the moves and understanding of a scoring vet, deft footwork and natural finisher from anywhere.

If he keeps this up, which I hope he does, he should be starting after half of the season at latest. Steal of the draft since he was picked 28th lol, you gotta thank the Nets man. Him, Smith Jr and Mitchell Donovan will suprise alot of people amongst the rookies.

About the Wolves GSW game, we won 111 - 95 lol, our bench were legit strong until. Killed theirs in 4 quarter after starters were sidelined after 3rd (they were leading 10 pts for most of it). Everyone looked really good except for Teague who was god awful.

Taj Gibson looks like a perfect fit starting with Towns, and bench improves a lot with Dieng moved down plus Crawford leadership (he basically didn't score but created and guided everyone like a pro). Play very quick ball movement until it gets to Shabazz who is a hungry ass scorer.

My man Dennis Smith jr getting most love here:

I agree that he will probably win rookie of the year, I would said Simmons (biggiest beast talent easily) or Fulltz, but they play together (plus Embiid, who btw got fucking 148m deal  Come on, 3 seasons 32 games gets you paid???), and they will take space and points from eachother. Rookie of the year besides talent is mainly about volume scoring and impact, which is why I dont think Lonzo will win even if he will be top 3, will have impact but dont expect him to be a volume scorer like that.

for @King of Kings boy, who is defenitely a rookie of the year candidate for me if he gets quick starting spot (unlikely?), he is getting more attention now, deservedly:

That spin move early in clip vs Jazz was sick!

Healthy Embiid is lock for HOF easily. No question of monstrous talent, but 30 games in 3 seasons, this deal is premature, they could waited another year and then pay him, since thats when you need to extend the rookie deal to first mini max type deal like they did now. So why the hurry? First see if he can stay healthy for his 4th year then shower him with money. They are essentially paying him 4.5m for every game played so far in his career lol.

Thing is they dont sign on this deal and get who on future free agent? I dont like him at all, but he is proficient is fairly hard to find quality position like PF. Plus even with this slight overpaying deal, they can trade him if it becomes necessary.

He is a beast really. The only issue with him coming to Spurs is that his personality is in stark contrast to Spurs.
But who knows maybe he finds common ground with Pop in their "I hate Trump" club.

Ah no way in hell he going to Spurs, not that he is selfish, but he is me before team kinda super mega icon. While Pop B ball is litterally the opposite.

But I would love it if it happend, I respect Spurs and Pop alot, they deserve big success again and you cant get better upgrade then Lebron.

Btw, that new player you got basically from nowhere in typical fashion, might become interesting:

I know. It's just a fantasy to see him and Kawhi play in the same team.
The issue with players like Paul and Simmons is that they beast during the regular season and then disappear in the playoffs.
