Anything more than the 2nd and Clarkson, and I will be furious
Do you think we have any chance to even get it for anything reasonable though? I mean were talking about Boston here, giving the No. 1 Pick to US of all clubs. If Magic wants Fultz, he better hope Boston takes Jackson or Ball. Or maybe hes playing some mind games here, hiding his 'real' plan and trying to trick Boston into not selecting 'our guy' :boh:

Its Randle @King of Kings :p

Multiple sources have told me that Magic "is in love" with Fultz. May try to move up to #1, possibly with a Julius Randle + #2 pick offer.

I think in the end Boston will go with Fultz.
This being said, I can talk myself into either one of Fultz, Jackson, Ball, Fox being worthy of the top pick - just not as much separation there imo, as some seem to think.
When all is said and done, I think it would be fully reasonable to expect/project that the two best players out of this draft will turn out to be Jackson and Fox, as opposed to the two most talked-about prospects in Fultz and Ball.

Well, if Magic really loves Fultz and actually makes an offer for that #1 pick, he will show his hand. If he doesn't make an offer, same thing.

Yeah, no.

No thank you. I'm good. Have you seen the kind of body transformation that Randle has gone through this off-season?

Id just pick Lonzo and be done with it. But maybe Boston likes Lonzo, and Magic knows it, so hes trying to make them go for Fultz with these comments. No idea, ill just wait for the damn draft and see what we do :D

Celtics just might trade their number one pick with Sixers. What's the worse that can happen..Fox or Jackson it's not gonna get any worse. Could be a very smart move at the end of the day.

Lots of noise on trade talks between Cs and 76ers being at an advanced stage.

Dennis Smith reportedly to visit Cs - if they get that 3rd pick, they may be looking to trade even further down with the Kings, who reportedly love Fox.

Them Lakers would really have to worry about Phili taking Ball away from Magic's arms.
Philly would take Fultz.

Simmons will b the primary ball handler and facilitator

They would be acquiring additional picks to make a major, major trade.

I'm not talking Butler or George.

I'm talking much bigger than that.

In order to do that, the lowest they would be able to go is #3, so trading down again won't be an option

If they trade down from 3, that would be for future 1st picks and the dif between 3 and 5 this year isn't all that much. Cs may be looking to exploit Kings' infatuation with Fox, in such a scenario.
And I agree Danny may be cooking up a storm here.

Celtics might secretly be wanting Josh Jackson
If they stay at 1, I think they go Fultz but if they can end up with Jackson and a future 1st (Lakers' pick in 2018), and may be a player too, I'd do that in a heartbeat.

This Cs-76ers trade may well be postponed for draft-night, though, until 76ers are on the clock - that way Cs will know for sure who's still on board.

All I know is, Lonzo is going to be a Laker for sure it's just gonna happen. I'm going to sound naive and hard headed it's just gonna happen Lonzo to Lakers. Just think Celtics might be outsmarting their situation, if they trade with Sixers it'll be in Celtics Favor. If I were the Sixers I wouldn't take the number one pick.

This trade, if it happens, and I am telling you this right now.

It has absolutely nothing to do with any players in this draft for the Celtics.

And I have heard from a couple of people in Boston telling me who they could be going after.

Put it this way. If this trade happens and they sign Hayward, they are the favorites in the East?

Curious as to who it could be?

I think the Cs are still looking to get out of this draft with a top prospect. It's just that they are just taking advantage of the fact that it's a deep and talented draft, without much diff between the top 4-5 prospects (if not more), that lacks a clear-cut generational talent.
Whether they get that talent at 1 or 3 or 5, I don;t think it matters all that much to them.
Now, the draft capital they manage to amass in the process of trading down from 1 - e.g. Lakers 1st in 2018, 76ers 1st in 2018, etc - that is what I think they may try to use to swing a trade.
If Cs can get Lakers 1st in 2018, which should be higher than 76ers in '18, they may be willing to let go of the Nets pick in 2018 in a trade.
Names I have on my mid now would be Butler, Davis or Griffin.

It's Anthony Davis. It will cost a 1st in '17, 2 1st's in 18 (The two best ones) , Jaylen Brown, and on of the guys stashed in Europe. I've heard this from a couple of different people. Ainge wants a gamechanger.

I don't think they can fit Davis, Hayward and Horford under the cap. If they are looking to get Davis, in addition to Hayward, they'd have to dump Horford.
Also, I think the Cs may be thinking that IT sort of puts a ceiling on how far they go in the play-offs - nice player to have but lack of size and defense may be too much come real crunch time. Plus, IT's still on on the cheap but that will change within a year.
I always thought a package of IT + Horford + a pick would be the best way to go after someone like Davis.

Knew you would say him, hes the only trade-possible superstar that makes sense to give up so much for. Fuck if they can land Davis AND Hayward, the east might become interesting again
