Why would he move to Boston?

Because LeBron loves him some hand-picked, loaded, superstar teams - it's his recipe for winning.

It was a joke, though.

Nice rundown. Thanks for explaining. I was aware of most except the contract situation of the potential stars. It's dumb to trade for someone who can't guarantee they will stay with you after a year.

Tho I wasn't thinking of Butler even if he is bit underrated, he isn't worth those extortionate asks. But George would defenitely be worthy imo.

And somehow finding a dominating big that's super star worthy, not an easy thing, but Horford cannot run shit for you there, holding you back imo, should be stretch four at best.

I don't know about George either - not a clutch player imo. Personally, I don't think the Celts are dethroning the Cavs with either Butler or George.
Plus, as Serge mentioned, George is believed to be aiming at a return to Cali and wants to play for the Lakers.

And truth be told, I'm not all that crazy about Paul George. And you can call me crazy on this if you want, but I feel that Brandon Ingram has a bigger upside than what Paul George can bring, and is 7 years younger.

Hell, I've gone through 4 years of this crap with the Lakers. Another couple of years isn't going to hurt me.

Number 1 seed that's likely to get swept in the ECFs. Y'all got number 1 because the Cavs didn't give two hoots.

And please. I've been a Lakers fan since I was 4 years old and the 88' title. The 90s sucked for both you and I. :p

Yeah. Trading Ingram/Russell/ 28th pick to Indiana for Paul George. I made sure that my son was in the room with me when the lottery was going on.

I told him that this was a lesson in all of the emotions that a human being can have in the span of 30 minutes. I know that people want to scream conspiracy theory here about the Lakers keeping their pick, but there is an article from Chris Mannix @acmilan, you probably know who he is. Anyway, he was in the actual lottery room when the order was being done, and he said, point blank, that it is as transparent as you can get, and there is no way that there can be any shenanigans going on. I'll find the article

the Knicks trade for Melo should be a lesson for everyone as to what happens when you trade half your team for a superstar with expiring contract. George can be picked up for free in 2018

Paul George is one of the best players in the league imo.

That's where we agree to disagree. There are 4 small forwards alone that are better than him, and you can make a case that The Greek Freak is better also. And Ingram is only 19 years old.

The other 4 SF's are Lebron, Durant, Butler, and Kawhi

Okay, we completely disagree about Butler as well at this point. No way would I name him next to Lebron, Durant, and Kawhi. 3 All-Stars. Butler will never be one and Paul George may not either but he's still a level above Butler imo.

Kawhi, Durant and LBJ are goat level super stars in ability, its not George's fault his position is stacked with those, but he is better then any other SF. Defenitely better then Butler, he is more complete, can do it all, ball handling, 3 pts, athletic posturizing beast, pro defender etc.

People underrate him too much just because he spent too long in obsecurity of Indiana. And true he lacks the confidence to be clutch, but he defenitely has the ability to be, just needs to grow more as a player.
