All I can find is that Kobe said he would be his new pau gasol? Kobe posted something about media posting bullshit as well. If Aldridge doesn't choose the Lakers I don't think it's because of Kobe.

At this point, they need to make a max offer to a restricted free agent such as a Tobias Harris.

Lock down the SF spot, use Randle as your PF, and get a serviceable C with the Mid Level Exemption.

Lakers acquire Roy Hibbert from the Pacers. Additional assets heading to the Lakers.

Exact same situation as last year with Jeremy Lin, when they also got a first round pick from Houston.

And before certain people get into a tizzy.

The Lakers have to reach the salary floor of 62 million.

Trade makes sense. They get a center for a year, pick up additional assets, and still have 60 million in space next year

:tup: does he only have one year left? What happened to Hibbert he was really good one year. I wonder if he can regain that form.

Jabari Brown and Tarik Black are already signed. The Lakers held team options on the both of them. An awful lot of power forwards on this club all of a sudden. Nick Young will probably be traded, so this means that Kobe will probably play small forward.
