    This is a HD Preview, the film is 10 minutes long only, definitely worth the watch.

    Actress Jeri Ryan, the actress portraying Sonya Blade in the video, has confirmed via Twitter that this is a short film created by a director to sell Warner Bros. on his Mortal Kombat pitch. "It's not a game trailer. Actually was made for the director to sell WB on his vision for a reimagined MK film," Ryan says on her Twitter page, adding " I did it as a favor to a friend. No idea yet what WB's reaction to it was." Thanks to Zimnick for pointing us towards Jeri's updates!


    Gotta say it looks awesome, hope they make it! But whoah, for second there I thought where the heck is Sub-Zero? Not an MK without the man in it.

    We already had a couple of those, didn't turn out as they should...I'd go with the, more or less, realistic approach this time around.

    That clip looked great. Hopefully it gets turned into a movie or even a series would be good too. I actually liked the realism idea too, they have tried to stay true to the game before with the films that came out before and they were pathetic.

    The realism and gore is whats needed to keep true to the MK universe. The previous movies all sucked balls and made the entire franchise a joke. This will definitely revive the brand and rekindle the fans interest

    One can tell a lot from watching a movie trailer and this was nearly on par with the Dark Knight in terms of buzz created from the trailer. This is gonna be a great movie

    I liked the first one when it first came out but i was really young then i tried to watch it again recently i thought it was bad but i suppose it wasnt really pathetic as i stated earlier but the 2nd one was indeed pathetic :agree:
